Amma is in her room, sad, and Runjhun embraces Amma from behind crying. She apologizes and says that even the most naive know not to place conditions on a relationship that is already shaky. She apologizes and says she had not choice and it was the only way to keep Guddu from leaving the house. Amma turns around and wipes Runjhun's tears. She tells Runjhun that she doesn't need any justification. She's seen Runjhun grow up, she knows that Runjhun will take the right decision. Amma says that she didn't understand what her mamis were talking about three days thought. Runjhun says she doesn't know how they found out as she never told them.
She says she just kept the challenge to keep Guddu in the house and change him. She embraces Amma and says she failed. She couldn't change anything and now Guddu will leave and go. Amma tells her not to worry. She tells her everything will be alright and tells her to have faith that her Guddu will not leave her. She prays silently to God to let Guddu stay in the house.
Kukkan is scolding Jabbo regarding him going to Mahadevi's room. Guddu is contemplating and thinking. Jabbo tells Kukkan that he didn't go ot meet Mahadevi but to search her room, and he didn't wake her. She was already awake. Kukkan accuses Jabbo of wanting to meet Mahadevi and she made him meet her parents. They argue back and forth till Guddu tells them to stop fighting like dogs. He tells them to leave. Kukkan says he will but he wanted to ask Guddu why the certain importance to Runjhun's birth chart. Guddu says that he will tell them when the time is right. Jabbo argues but Guddu tells him that he needs to be left alone for now. Kukkan says it must be a tense matter because Guddu looks worried. Guddu says for now they can leave. Kukkan realizing that they're not going to get anything out of Guddu leaves Guddu to his thoughts.
Vishnu is up early next morning and Kalsanwali gets up and wonders why he's up so early. Vishnu puts his doubts in front of Kalsanwali that he doesn't think Guddu was here to steal and is trying to place what Guddu was up to. Kalsanwali says that she wonders what he was doing in the store room. Vishnu asks Kalsanwali, what's so great about the store room. Kalsanwali tells Vishnu to put his brain in place and tells him that they hid the birth chart there, and she thinks that in regards to this birth chart she will get a heart attack. She hiccups with worry. Vishnu and she decide to go check on it. They hurry to the store room and take the birth chart out of its hiding place. Vishnu says that this birth chart is dangerous for them and needs to be destroyed.
Kalsanwali asks him if they will need it in the future, and Vishnu says that they know about Runjhun's fortune, anyone else knowing is dangerous. He says that it is better to destroy it so that no one can find it at all. Kalsanwali agrees. Vishnu tells her to go do it and she argues, and asks him what important work he has. He says it will look suspicious if they both go and tells her to go.
Kalsanwali sneaks out and walks to the lake area where Guddu usually goes to think. She looks around and then throws the birth chart into the water. Before it falls into the water it falls into Guddu's hands. Kalsanwali is shocked. He looks at Kalsanwali and questions what she's doing. He asks her why is she trying to throw Runjhun's birth chart into the water. Kalsanwali doesn't say anything. He asks her why she wanted to get rid of Runjhun's birth chart. He says he wants to see what the big deal about her birth chart is. He opens it and reads it. As he reads it Kalsanwali sneaks off but Guddu appears before her. He asks her what the big secret of the birth chart is and Kalsanwali shakes her head and says that there is no secret. She tries to run away and he corners her by the water and asks her if she doesn't remember him feeding her chilli samosas. Kalsanwali is scared and Guddu asks her to call her father since she talks about him so much.
He's about to ask her again when his phone rings. Kukkan tells Guddu that Amma has come looking for him. Kalsanwali sees the moment and runs. Guddu says he wants to talk to Amma too. He tells Kukkan to tell Amma to meet him by the old hill, since he's not going back to the Pandey House.
Kalsanwali rushes back to the house and is hicupping in fright. The uncles and aunts are all gathered and ask her what happened. She asks for water and the others wonder. Kalsanwali says she almost destroyed the birth chart. Vishnu tells her to answer in yes or no answers and asks her if she truly destroyed it. She says she was going to but Guddu appeared there. All of them look shocked.
Amma meets up with Guddu in the rocky hills. (This was long coming, just Guddu and Amma talking) Amma tells Guddu that she didn't know about the bet, and she knows that Runjhun did wrong by placing the bet, but tells him not to be swayed without knowing the whole truth. She tells him that marriage is an important institution raised on the foundation of trust. She tells him that Runjhun kept the challenge because she didn't want him to leave the house and her. She tells him that she didn't place the bet to hurt his feelings, and tells Guddu that Runjhun doesn't have any ill will towards him and asks him to return and not leave Runjhun. Guddu says she's always lecturing and he's not ready to believe her. Amma asks him why she would lie. Guddu says that she lied to him earlier when he'd come to her room to ask for Runjhun's birth chart and ask if there was any secret in there.
Amma remembers and asks him what he means. He says he has proof and holds out Runjhun's birth chart and asks her what rubbish is written in Runjhun's birth chart. Amma looks at it.
Precap: Amma tells Guddu what is written is true. Runjhun is the fortunate one, but that is also her curse. She says to protect Runjhun she didn't want the world to know about it and so she hid the truth. ( I think Amma is the best person to explain to Guddu without any outside help. He needs to clear his thoughts, and hopefully it will all click into place for him)
A very powerful episode and tomorrow promises even more...
