Billo, Mittho and Kalsanwali end up in the store room that is under the stairs to look for Runjhun's original birth chart. Mittho asks Kalsanwali why she put the birth chart in such a dirty and dusty location. They try to sort through all the dust and Kalsanwali brings down a box but there is no birth chart in it. Mittho looks through another box, but Kalsanwali tells her not to look through the dirty boxes but Mittho looks nonetheless and finds the birth chart rolled and wrapped in a red cloth. She tells Kalsanwali that she doesn't remember anything.
Kalsanwali says she forgot where she put it. Mittho says that if it was her daughter Babli's marriage but because it is Mittho's daughter, Kalsanwali can't remember. Kalsanwali tells Mittho not to accuse her, and the three get out of the room. Amma who is heading back to her room, spots the door, open and wonders how the door opened, when she is the one with the keys to the room. She sees her three daughter in laws file out, dusty, and coughing.
Mittho complains that she broke her slippers and as they try to dust themselves off they notice Amma standing there. Amma looks at the three and comments that they were the ones in the store room, and asks them what they were doing in there. They deflect the question and Mittho says that they weren't trying to steal anything that she's questioning them like a police. Internally Mittho curses Amma for trying to play the spy even in her old age.
Amma tells them to answer her question and deflect. She asks them where they got the key from and what were they doing in the store room. Amma spots something in their hands and as Mittho and Kalsanwali try to hide the birth chart, she takes it from them and unwraps it. Mittho, Billo and Kalsanwali look on nervously. Amma sees that it is a kundli, which then Mittho snatches from her hand.
Mittho tells Amma not to do inauspicious things. Amma is confused and Mittho explains that the birth chart is Mahadevi's and if a widow like her touches is on the occasion of marriage then it becomes inauspicious. Amma doesn't say anything. Mittho goes on to comment that Amma is concerned about the room being under lock and key, and tells Amma that her things are not the only things that are in the room. Kalsanwali agrees and tells Amma that she should hand them the key to the room, as she isn't one to be alive for long, and when she dies she won't be taking all of this with her. Amma tells them not to worry about her death, and tells them that they won't be taking anything with them if they die either.
Runjhun walks down the stairs and hears the exchange of words. Kalsanwali tells Amma that she should only concern herself in prayers, so that when she dies she can go to heaven. Runjhun rushes down and asks Kalsanwali how she can talk to Amma like that. Kalsanwali grabs Runjhun's hand, and twists is behind her back and pulls her towards her. She tells Runjhun that lately her tongue has begin to wag a lot. She asks Mittho if they should take a needle and thread and stitch Runjhun's mouth shut. Amma tells Kalsanwali to let go of Runjhun, and tells her not to commit to actions that invoke the devil. She tells her to fear god.
Kalsanwali lets go of Runjhun, but Billo tells Mittho and Kalsanwali that they should leave from here, and tells Amma that they will also see what happens, and they're not scared. They leave, but not before commenting that Amma keeps on spurting nonsense in her old age. Runjhun is upset at the way they talk to Amma. Amma calls after the three and say that they will one day get old too. Amma turns to Runjhun next and tells her to tell Guddu about this. Runjhun says no, and says not to involve him. Amma tells Runjhun that her aunts are like leeches and unless you use salt and pull them off they will suck your blood. She says Guddu will help her, and is best to treat them. She takes Runjhun and takes her to their room as Runjhun reluctantly follows.
Rajju and Vishnu are discussing Mahadevi's marriage upstairs and Rajju goes on about how his will be the only house lit in the entire town. He says it will be a big ocassion and he won't let anyone sleep that night. Vishnu tells Rajju not to worry too much. Rajju tells Vishnu that he sells perfumes while he sells lies. Vishnu says that he's a lawyer, and he's hanged many a people in the court. Rajju comments that it is mostly through lies. Vishnu tells Rajju that he should just take Mahadevi's birth chart and make Runjhun touch it as she is Bhagonwali and her fortune will ensure the alliance. Rajju tells Vishnu not to announce the fact continuously as sometimes walls have ears as wells.
Vishnu shakes his head and spots Guddu in his room, contemplating and looking upset. He drags Rajju closer and pretends to loudly discuss something so that Guddu can hear. He announces that Runjhun must be fortunate because she took someone like Guddu, and turned him over to a new leaf. He tells Rajju that someone who was like Guddu, fearsome, today is like a domesticated dog, and he makes whimpering noises of a dog. He says they have nothing to fear as Runjhun will win her bet. He tells Rajju that Runjhun had taken a vow that like Guddu had spoiled her life by marrying her, she would change him and bring him under control. He says that in twenty five days if Guddu is already dancing to Runjhun's tunes, then in next five days he is sure that Runjhun will win.
Guddu gets angrier and angrier by the minute listening to Vishnu's words. Vishnu says that they have nothing to fear as by the end of the bet, Guddu will be on all fours. He tells Rajju they have to leave, and whispers to Rajju that they have to find the birth chart, and leave from there. Guddu says that he agreed on the bet, but Runjhun is more bent on getting even with him, and has made him a joke in the entire household. He thought it was something between them but everyone in the house knows about their agreement and he's become the laughing stock.
Vishnu and Rajju run into Amma, who is there with Runjhun. Vishnu and Rajju look a little nervous and Runjhun and Amma exchange glances. They smiel and leave and Amma continues toward Runjhun and Guddu's room with Runjhun. She takes Runjhun and tells Guddu that Runjhun isn't just her grand-daughter but his wife as well. She tells him that he is the only one who can defend her, and tells him that the mamas and mamis still treat Runjhun as their personal servant and he's the only one who can do something. Guddu turns to face Runjhun and Runjhun avoids Guddu's eyes as he walks closer.
Amma senses the tension between Guddu and Runjhun. Guddu walks up to Runjhun and she looks at him, while he looks at her upset. Guddu tells Amma that he doesn't want to involve himself in such matters. He says he's already fallen and doesn't want to fall any lower. Amma is confused. Guddu tells Amma that her grand-daughter is already smart and doesn't need his help in any matter anyways. He tells Amma that if Runjhun can make him dance on her tunes then her aunts and uncles should be a piece of cake (Guddu you forget you have a heart...her aunts and uncles don't). Amma tells him that she doesn't understand what he means.
Guddu tells Amma that Runjhun should get used to the torture, or use the tactics she used for him to make him hollow in the inside and make her aunts and uncles hollow in the inside. He says he doesn't want to deal with the matter, and as it is there are only five days left, so after five days she has to go back to her life. He says he's leaving and leaves a very confused Amma and a very hurt Runjhun.
Amma asks Runjhun if Guddu and she had a fight. Runjhun doesn't say anything but then she doesn't need to. Amma tells Runjhun that small fights when the husband and wife disagree then compromise are fine, but huge arguments if not solved can turn into big issues if not handled properly. She tells Runjhun that Guddu seems really angry and that something big must have happened. Amma tells Runjhun that she can talk to Guddu, but Runjhun stops Amma and says that she will handle the matter. She says that Amma told her that a matter between husband and wife must stay in between the husband and wife, and she will take care of the matter. Amma tells her that in a marriage when one is angry and refuses to see reason the other should be the softer one and yield, and try to talk things out. She tells Runjhun not to delay it as the matter will turn out of control and the misunderstanding will continue to grow.
She tells Runjhun to take Guddu and sit down with him and talk things out. Amma encourages Runjhun and leaves. Runjhun thinks to herself on how she will handle the matter when in twenty five days she hasn't been able to do anything. She says she is worried if Amma comes to know the truth then what will she think.
Downstairs, Vishnu and Rajju inform the rest that Amma took Runjhun to see Guddu. Kalsanwali is worried, that if Guddu finds out that she twisted Runjhun's hand he will twist her up. Mittho says that she has to make the birth chart, and makes an excuse to leave before Guddu finds out what happened. Billo says she will come with as she knows how to bargain. Kalsanwali says that they both are trying to rush away so she's the one who has to handle Guddu. She says they were a part of it too and they can't leave. Mittho says that she has important work. Vishnu interrupts them all and says that they shouldn't worry because he's twisted Guddu in such a way that Guddu will not dare speak up in Runjhun's favor. Rajju says that Vishnu is forgetting that he was the one who was there.
Guddu walks down the stairs and see the six standing there, and looks at them. All six of them look nervous.
Precap: Guddu comes home when Mahadevi's prospective groom and his family arrive. Rajju tells the father of the groom not to be scared as Guddu does whatever he tells him to do and is under his control. Guddu and Runjhun exchange looks, then Guddu stares at the family (The Pandeys love beating their own foot with a hammer. If Guddu sends the family packing it will be their own doing, I've never seen a more deluded and misinformed bunch)
