Hello everyone!!

This topic is for all those stuffs which are unrelated to WRWMK. Basically, it's about our views, ideas, and/or opinions about certain issues. It's a sort-of "chat" or "leisure talk".

Every week, a new topic would be introduced for us to share our thoughts or experiences about it.

this week's topic is Religion. share about ur Religion. wht u hve do n u dont hve to do.....n soooo on...so guys get strted n share it all in here.

I'll start 😊
Well, i belong to Sikh Religion and according to my religion GOD IS THE FATHER AND WE ALL ARE HIS CHILDREN. In my religion, there r 2 types of ppl: 1)ppl like me, just normal 2)ppl who have taken holy water(amrit) and follow everysingle custom.
Amrit(if u don't know). it was discovered by sikh's tenth guru, guru gabing singh ji. Amrit actually connects u to god. if u take it that means u r not allowed to break even 1 rule. have to be perfect fully perfect sikh. if u have taken the holy water then u r allowed and not allowed to do following things:
1) No Drinking
2) No Smoking
3) No Drugs
4)u have to wake up early at 4 or 5. take bath and straight to the prayer to start to ur day by telling god to make my day much better than yesterday.
5)there r five things u have to keep with urself until u die- sikh comb in ur hair, u r not allowed to cut ur hair as they r god's natural gift, kashehra(don't know what that's for), kirpan to protect urself, ur community and ur religion if there is any harm, a steel banglr(don't know what that's for either).
6)not allowed to eat eggs(just don't know why)
7) not allowed to eat non veg as we all should respect other creatures in the world. if we have a life to live then them too have a right to live and enjoy it.
8) pray in the morning, evening and when u go to sleep. u have to do 1 more prayer while lying on the bed. it means in case if u die while sleeping then god will be there to save u from evil(i think)
9)have to cover ur head 24 hours

lol, anyways, im Sikh too...

hiten/simranjeet...i forget wat the kashera is used for...but the steel bangle is there as a "hath-kari" / handcuffs...that wenever u attempt to do anyfin bad, it will be there to remind u...coz u noe, u wear it on ur arm...

also...the non-veg thingo is a bit of a murky thing...coz Guru Nanak also said that "who r we to decide wat is meat and wat is not" and he talks bout how Plants are also living...so u noe...but the bit bout respectin other pplz religion and culture is true...that is why we dun have meat in the langar...coz of ppl of diff. religions may get offended... :D:D
I think Egg may come in the same category...

oh and u have to have the comb in ur hair to remind u...that a Sikh should be able to place his head on a saw (ari) if need arises...and that is why, a comb is placed on ur head (the highest honour) coz for a comb to be made, a saw needs to have gone thru it....interestin aiye?

yeh...Sikhism believes that there's only One God...and in Sikhism we r all told to respect other pplz religions...yet never forget our own....and we're told to stand up for everyone's rights....dusnt matter if theyre from a diff religion...i mean Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji gave up his life so that the Hindu ppl of Delhi cud live in peace...

Believe in Peace...but wen the need arises, dun be afraid to pick up the sword...

I am a MUSLIM.There are 5 pillars of ISLAM.
1.There is no god except ALLAH and muhammad{PBUH}is the messenger of ALLAH.
2.PRAYER-a muslim have to offer 5 times prayer namely fajr,zuhr,asr,maghrib and isha.
3.HAJ-a muslim have to do hajj only if he/she have money by going to saudi arabia.
4.ZAKAH- a muslim have to give something to poor people.it is not necessary that only money but they can give clothes,any thing or something else but with love.
5.FASTINGS-in the month of ramadan a muslim have to do fasting till fajr prayer to maghrib prayer for 1 month.

There are uncountable prophets in islam religion and muhammad{PBUH} is the last prophet and the most important.
At the time of prophet muhammad {PBUH} QURAN was the biggest and greatest miracle.

I WILL WRITE LATER MORE AS I HAVE TO GO TO ASR PRAYER. 😊

and isnt it true that ur not allowed to take any form of Interest...like with loans and stuff, coz that's not honest...and so, there r special Islamic Banks? lol, i noe this coz my best frend is a Bangladeshi Muslim...so i know a fair few bout islam... 😃

Since Ena and I have covered the main aspects. I'll tell u some more.We believe in one god(as Ena told u). but there r some other things as well. if u do not have any house then u can live in gurudwara and can get free food and there'll be no one telling u to get out as it is ur god's house. i said before that God is the father and we all are his children. it means there'll be no one telling u to leave as u r in ur father's house and father's house is ur house. u r the waris of khalsa.

Well! I respect my religion 😊 . I pay my respect to our 10 gurus and their teachings. I pay my respect Guru Granth Sahib(sikh's holy book. It teaches you so many good things about gos and what u are.It's great to be a part od sikh community. I always have great time when i go to gurudwara.
