And thinking of Yesudas-featured duets: Jab deep jale aana from Chitchor and perhaps a little less suitable, the ragamalika 'lesson' song from Alaap.

I think Dheera jalna would be an amazing song to hear in this show. I also think that Goonji si hai is a beautiful song. But with the latter, as with Abhi na jao chhodkar, I must confess to a little dread of hearing the song spoiled.

Thought of a really challenging new duet this morning:

Khuda Hafiz from Yuva

I can see Hemachandra and Himani carrying it off, and it would be a breeze for Karunya. But on this show... PH? UA? PH have the musical ability, but the attitude? And UA have the attitude but the musical ability?

I think this would be a really tough song to sing live.

So this week is done, and we have another one to look forward to... the competition OUGHT TO get tougher now....
