I don't care whether she provides hit films but 8 years is too long and I haven't seen a performance from her. New York haven't seen it yet.

The main thing, is that we all know that she hasnt done even ONE substantial role in 8 years YET she is the no 1 actress when it comes to box office AND popularity,

Why would she want to do something she is not comfortable with? She has her priorities in order and does not care for what other think in terms of acting in intellectual fru fru films. The path she has taken so far has been extremely lucrative for her - why fix something that aint broken? She has plenty of time left to "prove" her acting chops - although why she has to prove anything to anyone is beyond me.

Why are you even bringing kareena into this? Because I like her. First of all, your comment doesn't prove anything. There is a difference between kareena and katrina, and that is Kareena has proved she can ACT! Also bebo made low budget films with great performance like Chameli early in her career. How many of those does Kat have? None! Katrina is more ambitious about hits than kareena is. If kareena was so desperate for a hit she wouldn't have done MAMK with Salman. Knowing how bad the film was, she did it because her sister told her to do it. Now Kat, doesn't do films with Salman because he doesn't give her hits. She said so in the interview. She practically told the fans if you want me to do films with Sallu than go and watch the film and make it a hit! Oh and kareena kept on doing films with Shahid no matter how much they flopped. No body wanted to see their jodi until JWM came, but kareena still did films with him. So yes your right, Kareena is so desperate for a hit. 😛
