On a serious note- is it deliberate that it is Jugnu- sadda firefly and Lucky- the supposed ally of maneet -who are the witness to this narrative?
Will they get a chance to be active participants to this narrative- of
DEEPAK- the diya...the holder of jyoti
Jyoti- the light.. and yup OUR JYOTI DI!😳
Anyway, so continuing with yday's symbolism where Maan held Geet's face between his hands,
holding the light that was the love of his gEet, that Geet claimed was lost forever- in darkness without the moon or stars- without any of the embellishments of lovers, Maan today goes to her.
Maan who has become a vessel of love, because of his Geet, because of his jyoti, he has become a deepak.
and yes, the metaphorical names also symbolize their interdependence, the jyoti needs the deepak to hold it always. and the deepak is empty just like maan's life is empty without Geet.
In contrast to the darkness and the slight light in the promo and previous episode, the flame of love- in fact,the diya that was shown in maula mere- the diya of love that they protected- that was Deepak and jyoti.
And our maan and Geet were protecting it- those things became metonymic - came to stand for maan and geet themselves.
And after that Dev had come...
Even when MAan left geet after dev got caught, and they feared a separation coming- we saw that 1 candle that was left burning- the glowing love that kept them alive through the darkness that was their separation.

The contrast between the way maan has told geet to move on and away from her family for her own rights and how beautifully he sought to capture Geet's entrance into his house as a dulhan contrasts with the neglect pammi suffers from in her wedded house.
I wish GEET tells teji to shut up and pammi to speak..seriously!
I wish maneet learn and teach something from and to this couple that's so estranged- the man uncaring and harsh; the woman subdued- merely typecasted into roles.
Pammi has no identity while Geet always has had one.
But MAan categorized her and has to make amends- and i hope they learn from this couple.
Although maan is an angry man- he loves his geet so much- and the understanding that exists is better than the no understanding and complete lack of trust in the teji -pammi relationship
I look forward to the development of parallels.

Obviously 'jite' has been forgiven by 'ballu' so..let's see..it is after forgiveness that betrayal can take place again
