**Maaneet-Love; Lies; Betrayal **
Okay finally the episode made my dormant creative cells work and I was penning it down; I was in tears. Such an emotional episode; an amazing episode; the track intriguing more and the suspense behind Dev's motive increasing! I hope you will agree with me; and please don't yell if this is a long post!
Well please don't be ready with rotten tomatoes and eggs if you feel this post is not that worthy!
Amazing episode and I yet have to be back out of the Maaneet land; the too hot to handle Maan; the Tai-chi! I am dead!
The photo fell of his hand; both Geet and Dev saw it; and knew what was going to come. Geet was in tears; pain; infact she didn't know how to react.
Maan is a man of principles; and anyone who goes against it; even if it means his wife; she will not be left; she has to face his wrath.
He saw Geet; her eyes which were downcast; she knew that I was wrong; I should have told you everything. He left the place without uttering a single word; he was hurt by the woman he loves the most; respects her; trusts her blindly. She is his world; and she betrayed me.
The event turned him into the old Maan Singh Khurana; for whom it was all about him; his pain; his life; his respect; his trust. Only him.
But Geet is in love with a new Maan. The father of her child; her husband who can do anything; anything in the world possible to see that his love is safe; their baby is safe.
She crumbled to see him fight with him self; within he was burning so was she. She felt helpless in front of him; seeing him self cause him pain. She knew that if I am wrong; which she isn't but I still have to clear the misunderstandings.
Geet: "Maan main hamare beech kisi teesre ko aane nahi doongi."
She confronts him; he has to listen to her. How can he not; when she did all possible things to see him alive; to bear that all pain; to live that pain; only for him?
Why maan? Why?
Bahut asaani se keh diya mar jaane diya hota mujhe
Geet: "Aapko sirf aapka gussa maine rakhta hai? Geet; uska pyaar; hamare hone se ya na hone se aapko koi farak nahi padta? Bahut asaani se keh diya mar jaane diya hota mujhe?"
He was in pain; his was actually disgusted at the fact that it was Dev who saved him; the person he hates the most; who is a sinner. Maan couldn't actually take this that he was saved by Dev. His ego; his respect; his anger was justified; but couldn't he see the pain his wife must have gone through to see him alive today; to bear the man whom she detests the most? The way she begged to see Maan alive; wasn't that a sacrifice? Geet did everything under her control to save him; but destiny has its way; she was forced to take his help.
Today Geet faced the worst in her life; I pity her the most.
And I am glad that she had the power; the authority over him; to question him; his behavior; today we saw Geet Khurana; not Geet! She had every right to ask him; question him. She is Geet Khurana today and I am proud of my Sherni!
I would like to quote an anecdote from my earlier post here; why did this situation arise today?
Geet found herself stuck between the man she loved to death and the woman he respected the most; between Maan and Dadi Ma; between her ultimate love, and the woman who had accepted her like a daughter; between her instincts as a wife and a lover and her duty as a daughter-in-law.
So I hope my long post didn't bore you; but when it comes to Maaneet I can't shut my mouth.
Another fabulous episode; where we saw the acting potential of Drashti! She was the one who stole the show today; with her acting; the emotions; her body posture; the eyes! We love you gal! And I am not only praising Drashti but even Gurmeet did an awesome job today! The intensity; the fire; the moment; *Sigh!*
