Looks like strong male characters are set to return to Indian television. YRF's Television's Kismat is a saga of two powerful men, who were born on the eve of independence.

The story revolves around the all-consuming enemity between the two powerful characters, spanning over 60 years in the post independence era. Aditya, who is born with a silver spoon has access to all the privileges and was taught from the beginning that winning at any cost is a must.

Kabir Khan faces many adversities early in life, which mould him to become an aggressive go-getter, who stops at nothing. In time, destiny brings Aditya and Kabir face-to-face in a major conflict.
