Viren is confused with his own feelings but he doesnt want to give uop what he has believe in so many years.... Thsi transformation cna be brought by Nivi with her compassion and understanding his needs to eb loved, cared and listened to....Although I do think she shouldnt give in each time as Viren is used to get his own ways and sometimes that is also wrong!!

His tears are a way of expressing his emotions...if you see he is very passionate person and what he cannot say in words he says through his eyes....if you read my post oin Viren's silent screm...he is screaming but it is so silent that nobody can listen so his only way of expressign himself soemtimes is through his eyes...
why he shouted at her ?
Viren cannot think of anybody touching Nivi other than himself..he cannot see her in pain and he definetley cant be calm when she is been treated disrecptfully.... But the irony is he is doign it himself and he is doign it to get rid of her as he thinks he is a nalayak and is not fit for her!! All these emotions which has clogged his through coems out as a SHOUT.. He keeps saying " get away from me...stay away from me.... leave me alone" as he is scared about what he really wants to say. His need for her so great that he doesnt trust himself to allow her anycloser than what he has doen already btu what he fails to understand is she will break all barriers that Virenb has brought upon himself!!

Even though this was the hardest thign he has done....This was the only way for him to let her know he is indeed bad and does not care for her....But Nivi sees through huis charade and tells NO YOU DO CAR and this scares him again and once again he runs away!!
