When karan, Lakshya, police and others were watching the Video of Kritika's murder attempt on tv, they were showing Kritika holding handycam . they were watching video which was recorded in handycam and handycam was shown in it. they made a big mistake

Krittika was first holding the handycam and recording herself. She later placed it on the stand beside the almirah so that when Sudhanshu comes and she gives him the surprise, she can record everything without holding it, i guess.

I saw that too, by the looks of it, she was infront of a mirror and then you can see that her face shows only so then she left the mirror area and turned the camera onto her self. then she set the camera down
