01/26/2011: SHOWDOWN & Justice served!!!

Precap: In a sudden turn of events, following Jyoti's & Priya's marriage, Sandhya manages to force DK into a situation where his only hope is to switch sides & join her. DK confronts Prabhavati in front of everybody & slaps her, condemning her for making him a monster. Sandhya tells Manik that she'll activate her case against the Jagirdars in 2 days, on her father's death anniversary, and shows Sunita the recording of DK confessing that he was just pretending to love Sunita, but actually didn't, to which Sunita is upset & leaves in disgust.

In the meantime, back in Mumbai...

Savratkar sisters converge for anniversary
At Sakshi's place, Savita, Shradhya & Shreya are there w/ her, and they're happy to be together on the death anniversary. Shreya remarks that their father too would be experiencing Sandhya's absense like them. Shradhya tells her that while they would be missing Sandhya, their father wouldn't, since she'd probably be w/ him. The sisters then have a tender moment 🤗

Sunita walks out on DK
Sunita is in her room packing her things, (all in one suitcase - don't you love how mobile & portable a bahu of such a rich family is? 😆 One would have thought she'd need the movers) when DK comes in and asks her where she is going? Sunita tells him that she's going wherever she likes, but she won't stay here a moment longer (since it's now no longer Jagirdar property, it's an additional good reason not to stay) DK tries to stop her and tell her that she can't leave him, since he loves her so much and can't live a moment w/o her. (uh-oh, shouldn't have said that) Hearing this, Sunita gives him a tight slap 👏 and tells him that it's not her, but his tawdry & sleazy tactics that he cannot live w/o. As for his love, she now knows everything about him - both his so called love, as well as his intentions. She tells him that let alone her, he's incapable of loving anybody but himself. Sunita tells him that she was mad (no typo here!) to believe that he had changed, but people like him aren't made to change, but instead, to make the lives of others miserable.

DK tries to tell her something, but Sunita warns him against repeating her name, and that she'd rather be a widow than be his wife. Saying this, she takes her suitcase and leaves. As she leaves the room, she sees Sandhya, who's been overhearing the conversation, but leaves in disgust w/o a word. Sandhya outside, & DK inside, both stand there stunned.

Puja in Sakshi's house
Next day, @ Sakshi's house, Jayesh sits @ the puja, and all the sisters join him (where are the other hubbies - Adi, Mohan & Rohit? Particularly Adi - all this is happening @ his place) He offers oblations to Shyamrao.

Sandhya reminds the Jagirdars of their crimes
Prabhavati, Pankaj & Sarla are sitting in the living room, and Pankaj says that he is embarrassed to consider DK his bro, after everything he has done (You're late, Pankaj - Puru beat you to this several times, and now Sunita is ashamed to be his wife) He apologizes to Prabha, but she tells him that she had heard the saying 'Vinash-kal viprit buddhi' (when one is about to be destoyed, they first go mad), which DK has demonstrated to her. Anyway, she's not worried about DK, but about what Sandhya is up to.

Sarla agrees, noting that it's been 2 days since the marriage, and yet Sandhya has taken no action against them? When she says something, she gets them into trouble, and when she doesn't, she creates even more havoc. Prabha says that there seems to be a lull, which seems to indicate a storm ahead.

Just then, some officials enter the mansion, and addressing Prabhavati Jagirdar, inform her that they have a court order for the auction of this haveli. (You need a court order to sell or auction a property?) Therefore, they are under orders to vacate this haveli immediately, and are not allowed to take anything out of it - not a rupee, not a flower, nothing.

Pankaj is outraged and demands to know who is auctioning this mansion, and Sandhya appears and tells them she did! She reminds them that this haveli is now in her name, nad she's @ liberty to do anything she likes w/ it - donate it, auction it, sell it, whatever... 😆 So stop staring @ her, let the court do its work, and they can convene their committee outside 😆 She tells the officials to do their job, and that these people won't stop them. Prabhavati tries to stop Sandhya, telling her that this is their ancestrial home, and what would she gain by doing this?

Sandhya tells her that she'll gain satisfaction, and her father's soul would be @ peace: it's been a year since he died, and this would be her personal offerings to him. She won't get her father back, but the people who tortured her, she'd torture their ancestors and her father's soul would be @ peace. While her sisters are doing their puja for the occasion, she plans to ruin the Jagirdars and do her puja that way. This was the house that she entered as a bride, and where they made her a corpse and kept her. Her father had blessed her b4 sending her to this house, and they were the ones who sent him out of this world. She tells them that this house was the planning command & control of every heinous plot ever conceived. It's said that homes are made up of not just stones, but of love as well, but in this house, every corner has a plot, a dark secret, or some heinous crime buried under it. Her screams were stifled, and while she came to this house w/ dreams of setting up a family, they just ruined it all for her!!! While for any married woman, her sasural is in her heart, for Sandhya, her sasural left a noxius odor. She says that this is the house where her molestation was attempted, and so she is now going to auction every item in this property!

Police arrest the Jagirdars
Just then, Yuvraj arrives @ the scene, and realizes that everything his mom & uncles said was true! He approaches her and tries to shake her, asking why she deceived him? Sandhya throws Yuvraj off and tells him not to dare touch her. She tells them all that they were the ones who murdered her father and tried to murder her, but she survived and returned to bring them to justice. 👏 Today, her task & objectives are complete.

Yuvraj angrily accuses her of cheating him, and attempts to strangle her infront of everyone. 😲 Just then, the police enter & separate them, and Yuvraj is in their custody. Prabhavati tries to protest his innocence, but the inspector here tells her that there is enough evidence against him for several murders, not just her father's. Prabhavati tries to tell him that Sandhya is lying, and that they are like family, but the commissioner tells her that they can't help her this time. Pankaj tells Sarla aside that while they had money, they could get out of this, but not this time. 👏 Prabhavati tells the commissioner that she can't live w/o her son.

The commissioner tells her that she won't have to 😆 since he has an arrest warrant for all of them. They are all guilty of the plot to kill her father, as well as Neeraj, and some years earlier, the daughter of Gayatri Devi. Pankaj demands to talk to his lawyer, but the commissioner tells him that he has a non-bailable arrest warrant. 👏

Prabhavati demands to know what evidence they have, and Sandhya tells him that the person who was w/ them in all these crimes has now turned witness for the state. DK comes out. Sandhya tells them that that day, when DK slapped her, she recorded everything they said, and @ the wedding, plainclothes policemen were there as guests to make all of them state witnesses. Those recordings are w/ the police as well, as are all the other evidence. So now, what more do they want to live, or rather die, for? She turns to DK and tells him that he's finally done one good thing in his life, and that by assisting her, his sentence will be less than that of the others. Yuvraj yells @ DK & wants to lounge @ him, except that he's captive. In the meantime, the police cuff Prabhavati, Pankaj & Sarla as well.

Yuvraj asks his mom where his father is. The commissioner tells him that Purushottam Jagirdar had already surrendered this morning & confessed to everything, and is waiting for them. The Jagirdars are then escorted out of the mansion.

All this is taking place while the pujas are going on in Mumbai, where Jayesh is the only hubby present.

As they are leaving, DK asks Sandhya not to forget her promise that once he's free, he gets half the property - it was on that basis that he turned against his own family (I thought he did b'cos he was scared of going to jail) Oh, and his punishment should be mimimized (DK, don't you know that's up to a judge, not Sandhya?) DK is then led out. The appraisers continue on their work, while the episode ends on Sandhya's face.

Yuvraj is behind bars, & Damodar mamu tells him that he has a plan that will put away not only Sandhya, but Gayatri Devi for good. (Okay, guess this is where Neeraj would get his opportunity to reconnect)

Sandhya arrives @ her sisters house, and Savita asks her how dare she show up there, since today is their father's anniversary, so she should @ least have the decency to spare them today @ least? 😲😭

What a watershed episode!!! Sandhya gets her complete revenge, Jagirdars are behind bars and Sunita leaves DK. Since she's joining another serial, this probably indicates her exit from this show.

So this chapter is over, and from tomorrow, Damodar is back, and now plotting w/ Yuvraj against Sandhya & Gayatri Devi. So this would be Neeraj's entry, and Raghu-da's gang would now be helping Sandhya, especially if she learns about him from Gayatri's super spies. Hope next weeks new timings re-unite Sandhya & Neeraj.

Hope that the precap in Mumbai is just a momentary shocker, and that once Sandhya shows them the DVD, they'll believe her and be happy that she's got their father justice, and is back w/ them. It needs to be rakt sambandh!!!

Thanks for the update :) I hope you're right about Raghu and his men teaming up with Sandhya! I hope that happens, it'd be good.

But the Jagirdars don't have squat, so where can either they nor Damodar get money to pay to kill Sandhya? It's something Damodar will have to do. I think Gayatri might ask Raghu to cover Damodar and prevent him, and more than cover that expense. But I think Sandhya is now probably richer than Gayatri Devi, particularly if she auctions the haveli.

I don't think it will be easy, but not for the reasons you describe.

But I'm not getting it. For Raghu-da to agree to do anything, particularly for one like Damodar who's cheated him once already, he'd have to be paid upfront. Neither the Jagirdars nor Damodar have the cash to make him do squat.

If anything, if Sandhya was so inclined, she could hire Raghu to bump off Damodar, in return for paying him the full 3 crores, plus more.

When they signed the property over to her, did that really include any money they own? I thought that would be separate hmm. All along, to me, it's seemed like Sandhya has just wanted the haveli, she hasn't asked for their businesses or to put all of their accounts in her name therefore whatever is in them accounts and the income from the businesses will surely still belong to the Jagirdars, will it not? I'm not sure exactly how much they signed over to her, but the story could go either way. I'm inclined to believe that the Jagirdars will, as has been said above, recruit Raghu to hunt down Sandhya in return for money which will clear Damodar's name in the process. But like you say, it could happen differently too..

When they signed the money or to Sandhy, she got te whole property, so I think everything they had. And as I remember, when the police arrived at the haveli and Prabha tried to convince the inspector of Yuvraj's innocence, Pankaj said to his wife something like "As long as we had money, he worked for us and now..." Therefore I'm sure, they don't have a single rupee.

As per an article on Telly Buzz there is another imagine show scheduled to start at the end of this month. Does this mean that Rakt Sambandh is ending?
