and If I Rise, although not mind-sucking like Mind Heist, is a great song. its so soft and stuff but it's so mysterious at the same time o.o

Congrats to AR Rahman. I think the man is a genius...he truly makes his music from the soul. He's successful and yet so humble, which is very rare. People taste a bit of success and they think they can fly but this man has attained international success and he's still humble as ever. Isse kehte hain bada insaan :)

mind heist...whenever i listen to it I felt like my ears came alive...it's so chilling and SICK! I get so lost in the rhythm! and I love how he builds the climax and the tension and then the last 10 seconds are pure heaven!! Beautiful composition...all of the compositions were mind blowing!! Sometimes I wish hindi films would just lose the songs and play BG music...b/c most of the times films might have BAD songs and I hate sitting through a bad 4-5 min song!!!

ahaha i wish they ditched the songs sometimes too =/

bg music can be equally tantalizing, sometimes, even more than playback songs.

besides songs are so dang RANDOM! haha its like, where did you get that wireless mic.. -_-

and its not like Indian MD's don't have the ability to create good bg music. ARR is godly in that department. Amit Trivedi is also FANTASTIC!

I get kinda tired of Vishal-Shekhar's teenybopperish crap songs that pop out at crucial scenes -_-

I know man. all of Inception's sound tracks are terrific. I could listen to them all day long, they have the same 'sucking in' quality that the 'requiem for a dream' soundtrack had. I think Clint mansell even won an award for it.

but seriously, I was so sure hans would win it! 😒
