if silver, then myth had it that werewolves get affected by silver...
so like Superman gets affected by Kryptonite, VD vampires by vervain so Pia's pendant affects Abhay in the same manner!

I saw one hollywood movie in which they show that vampires can only be killed by silver metal. I movie they show that only by a touch of silver their body burns and i think its true also coz i also read it somewhere.
