Yes it is, I agree with u, a saga of mistakes about trust there are several dimensions and it is not a one way traffic. Prerna stops confiding in Anurag the mistrust starts, she reposes faith in a man ie BAjaj who cannot digest the fact that Prerna is now married To Anu, he pledges to get her back and plots. Why does she trust a man who never wanted her marriage with Anu and hates him?

In this phase he manipulates and exploits the emotional bonding of Kuki with Prerna ( at the expense of PREM 1) and later at the time of Vishakas wedding he has a ready made excuse, during the engagement ceremony, Anurag is humilated when Bajaj takes his seat beside Prerna as married couple do for the ceremony. The opening message had only to do with Anurag repenting, but as others gave their view points, Bajaj too figured, some issues were raised and clarification given. Yes indeed the soap has taken a 20 year leap, but history is repeating with flashbacks from the past. Past is indeed the present here.
