Rani & Akshay both have said time & time again that they want to work with each other but the thing is whenever they are offered a movie together,sometimes they don't have dates or sometimes Akki doesn't likes the role or sometimes Rani doesn't likes it and so they never worked together!
Infact,Rani in her recent FM interview while promoting NOKJ talked about this.
They both are pretty good friends because Twinkle happens to be Rani's one of the closest friends.
