Simply amazing post Sabah!! I usually don't get enough time to check the forum and posts, but yeah this one really caught my attention!! I am glad. Thank you for sharing.

MJHT's dialogues sometimes have been too lame, but only sometimes, rather most of the times its dialogues of show which made me so connected to this serial and MN. Seriously since the day one Nupur's by God. from 2nd episode of MJHT what attracted me to MJHT was Mayank's sarcastic chat with Dia, udhay, Samrat in canteen. I was like OMG this guy have really something special abt him. One of the MOST prominent and top most reason I love Mayank is coz of his dialogues. That sarcastic tone and proud attitude of his!!!😎

Ah! That Dia Mayank chemistry. I loved this one too @2:36
D: Mayank, bolo kahan se bol rahai ho?
M: Mein toh bachpan se mou se bolta hun.

Diva Dia, gives as goods as she gets, screams NUPUR into the phone. Excellent.

Sometimes it was just his attitude, here outside the men's loo, that stare that reminds his peers of their deficiencies in so many respects @ 1:58 and again at 3:54 (technically not a line but I am sneaking it in under those unsaid yet spoken lines, Mayank's stare more than a 'who do you think you are?' BUT RATHER more a 'I know who I am, do you know who you are?

I would never be able to list out the lines, dialogues I like of MN. I mean they are just too many yaar!! I don't even know from where to start and on which to end!!😆 True, my favourite scene of MJHt always is the one I am currently watching. We love them all, because they are each a link in a journey.

Their talks during the first few scenes, when Nupur was first locked up in washroom and then their encounter in class room. The times when he took her to beach, and new year party, when they were locked in lucky mishra's home, the barn scene, holy scenes, that dill se sorry,
FINALLY someone mentioned this one. I was waiting, I thought maybe I would be the only one.

I use this the most, from all the lines of MJHT. @ 6:35

I'm sorry, actually sorry, dil se sorry, dunya mein jitne sorry, sab sorry.

I also loved ' I will go home with nupur ONLY! Only just got a whole new definition.

play rehersal (the dialogues which can make anyone's heart go for these two), the historic confession, the post confession sweet and bit hesitated chats with shyness of both with feeling of knowing they both are in love, even 2nd confession, Morena track, pre marriage meeting and kal ho na ho sequence, post marriage promises and faith, dealing with problem coming in way of their marriage life, Intazaar sequence and their oaths during their 2nd marriage, umm like it was shown this way, and then Nupur's come back, their confession again, those heart touching moments........ These are just FEW i mentioned. Apart these there are just tooooooooo manyyyyy that I can even tell how much they have affected me and love this couple beyond limits.
❤️True, credit to all, the actors, the writers, the co actors, the directors, BG score creator and even the lighting guy for making everything perfect.

These were some emotional part, but their fights, their sarcastic comments for each other, their so many usual chats in college, before and after falling in love, and after marriage, whenever i watch those scenes they left in aww, and incredulous at the writers of these dialogues. And remember how Mayank used to get irritated by Nupur's calling everyone, bhaiya, aunty etc.🤣

I miss how she used to call him monkey Mayank. Haan, just loved her delivery. No wonder Mayank fell for her, she is just so endearing. I miss those 'Morena' words she used to stick into sentences. As well as her tenacity to Hindi itself, her 'bhasvashnar mein jhakne wali aunty' to Mayank's

AUNTY NAHIN, FORTUNE TELLER!

I love this instance, where he shouts it from the kitchen, to Nupur's inured, haan, haan, at 3:20

or Naatak to Mayank's PLAY. Here at 1:08

Just so funny!

OK i would like to mention this one here, while working in Samrat's case when Mayank told Nupur,

"Mujh se naraz mat hoa karo, bhaley hi main keh nahi pata hun, but main bhi buhat hurt hota hun."

How sweetly he said these words!!! so much depth of Mayank's character in them!! and when he said once

"ham dono jo aik dosre k liye feel kertey hain wo buhat hi pure hai, aur wo sab yeh samajh nahi payien ge...... mera matlab hai k jab college main aik larka aur aik larki sath hotey hain tuh unn pe kayi tarha key jokes bantey hain, aur main nahi chahta k tun kisi bhi joke ka part bano"

Haan, I loved this one too. I remember that scene, when Benji laughs at Mayank's joke on Nupur's Nautanki behaviour, and then scolds him for laughing at his joke, staring at Benji, 'uspe hasso mat!'

Whenever i think abt Mayank and Nupur, these line make me respect their relationship and each other value for them!! Seriously I can't even describe here in words what i feel for them and what they have become for me through all this time. Though you watch MN scene 100000 times you won't even get over and fed up of them, always you will want more and more and even more!!!True, their scenes whether comic or emotional or filmy or real, just full of heartbeats!

And yes not to forget Mayank and Shilpa aunty relationship has always been my 2nd fav in MJHT after MN. Shilpa aunty's one liners always crack me up so badly, and Mayank's sadu looks after wards. No doubt to say Mayank is son of shilpa aunty, so witty, intelligent and generous lady!!! And yeah damn caring when it comes to ones who you love to infinity.Shilpa Aunty is one the best characterization I have ever witnessed, and Mayu/Mayank her son just a dream come true.
Mayank's interaction with dia, benji, and udhay has always been special in its own way. Dia's making faces after his rude comments and Udhay's kept thinking the meaning of each of them for so long after wards. And yeah that chironjee too, haha. He was so much fun and yes the line you put in ur post, that shut up one.......🤣🤣You have pointed out another aspect, credit to writers and Arjun for giving us those wide parameters of Mayank. As in real life we are all a little different with our parents, to our teachers, to our friends BUT we are the same person still. Mayank was different, had chemistry with all his opposing characters, whether Samrat, Nupur, Shilpa Aunty, Dia, uday, or Chirunji, he was slightly different, but the same Mayank. I am in awe of both the writers and Arjun for giving us this remarkable feat, another reason I love MJHT, naming it a masterpiece.

and Nupur, well what I can say abt her, I don't think so this By God was ever this popular among people. Even the people who are not her fans, can't stop chanting this line now again and again, "By God" 😉😆. And so many others like this, can't even list them all. heheAnd yes how can I forget Mayank ever popular and sweetest line, "Maa balon ko mat chuo" Goshhhh this always make me to have a strong urge to pull his cheeks and touch his hair once........ 🤣🤣True, it is like a green light to masti! how could anyone resist!

This has been such a sweet journey with so much ups and down, MJHT have got its name scribbled down in history with the the everything it had!!! All the lines, dialogues and everything abt it have made me love this serial more and more!!!

MJHT underrated, underestimated, most likely BUT never by anyone who actually watched it. Love Sabah.

Though i wasnt in a mood to reply to anyone today but here I am for this one as it talks about MJHT i loved and would always Do.

1stly Gulkand means the Jelly type substance thats in Meetha Paan .... I love that Gulkhand and its yummy ...hehehe.
Ohkay back to Topic. Yes Dialogue's did play an Important Role in MJHT in the Initial Epi's. I would say till Dec 2009 Our MJHT was so Full of Fun and Masti both the Show and Forum.
I loved all the characters even in the Criss Cross Connections way.
GuNur, SaNu, SaNji, and all others. Benji and Samrat with Nupur create a Criminals Thigdi. These three togethere have just done the most teda kaams in MJHT, then be it keeping Sheena away from Samrat or making Gunjan sing on stage or be it bhagaoing Adhiraaj. They've been the Master behind all these Plots against various ppl.
Mayank and Gunjan on the othr hand are seedha saadha ppl. They believed in living simply lives and doing simple things. Its just Nupur, Samrat and the Gang - Dia, Uday, Benji, mattered for these 2 and inpar hi inka life start and end hota hai.
I also loved the Nupur-Shilpa Aunty convo, where they had gala time discussing about Mayank. How Shilpa Aunty wud tell her that she's proud of Nupur for giving a Good takkar to Mayank and she so wished that Nupur brings some positive change in Mayank's life.
Then Samrat's Plans to build Gunjan's self confidence or to make her feel tht she is special to Him.

It was such memorable time for all of us. One of the Best and these are the times we can watch again and again and again

Gosh saba..what a wonderful reply to my post..thank u sweetz...🤗

ok one more think which i really really liked was the way gunjan addressed nupur.."di"..but she used "tum" with it...that showed their bonding, the less age difference, the respect...i dont know if i am exaggerating or not, but the gunjan's way of addressing nupur was totally REALISTIC..i always loved it..

I have just fallen in love with your username, that is so sweet, like marshmallow clouds of happiness, those days we spend with our sisters lying under clouds, guessing the shape of the hands of our would be lovers, the way of their walk, the paths that would lead us to white shores that look like snow reflecting the warmth of the sun and lots of candy floss love. I miss those years, but I find that feeling whenever I look at my sister. Sisterhood, there is nothing like it. God keep your hearts together forever. 😳

I love your siggie, it is very true, is that an original?

Oh, ekatta, 😆 Yes I know that word, now I understand.

Hatheyli, palm as in palm of your hand or palm tree? 😳

Please feel to add, it is helping me to close this chapter and begin writing the next one.

Love Sabah

I am in your debt for sharing. I truly enjoyed replying. Thank you.

True, their relationship reminded me of me and my sister too. Two sister so different that perhaps they would not even be friends but destiny created such a bond that they loved each other nonetheless.

Haan, Gunjan's manner of speaking EVEN when advising or lecturing was never rude, but neither distant too. The embodied that 'mother daughter, friendship, especially loved those scenes, edited to highlight this fact, on Nupur's return from Ahemabad, mirroring another mother parent relationship of Mayank's and Shilpa Aunty.

The editing of the dialogues between these two relationships as a way to highlight that fact that just as Shilpa Aunty is mother to Mayu so Nupur has been one to Gunjan, is just commendable as it is remarkable. I was very much impressed.

How can I forget this one? mujhe pata tha ki tum mujhe yaha per milogi…is liye mein apna dimag ghar pe hi chod ker a gaya 😆….. Surely a long way they have come in tat post RV fiasco scene. I always wanted to see mayank in scenes with Dia and CJ. But tat hardly happened. However we got fantastic scenes of mayank and dia post the announcement of nupur's comeback. Like this one

I did not see the start of S2 (perhaps this was the first scene I saw in S2) so I cannot say whether he opened up to any other person before or not. But here he just did. Dialogues were simple and impactful,

uss waqt aisa kyun hua dia, ki uss waqt mein ussey bye bhi nahi keh paya?

Who ab tak mujhsey naraz hai.

Tumhey yaad hai jab mein b'lore ja raha tha, who kaisey merey peechey bhagti hui ayi thi? aur mein? Jab who ja rahi thi, jaatey jaatey ussey mil bhi nahi paya…

Surely a long way they have come in tat post RV fiasco scene. I always wanted to see mayank in scenes with Dia and CJ. True, although what I am going to say next can be applied to any of the other actors or characters, I would say that it is more so for Mayank/Arjun, THAT his chemistry, his relationship with other characters was a delight to watch. Even people like RV or Sheena, do you remember that moment when she entered, he looks to see whom Tamana mam is introducing but then returns his gaze back to what he loves best, then that standing up and 'can I go to the library moment, then of course that 'colour of love' green scene later on, up to the moment he shuts her up at the pool, like no one else could although they tried. Just loved this aspect of Mayank, his ability to be the same yet different in degrees, with all and everyone, just made him that bit more special. But tat hardly happened. However we got fantastic scenes of mayank and dia post the announcement of nupur's comeback. Like this one

I haven't really watched since the Morena track, just here and there, but from your video and quote I would have to agree, very well written.

Again MJHT writers always played well with, history, they kept history present, for we are the culmination of all the past moments up until now. Only once I hated the way they 'changed' the past with the explanation of the Dhruv track, that they came to Mumbai to be rid of him, it just did not mesh well with the whole feeling of MJHT as it TRULY began.

One thing I have pondered in real life, we are the effect of all the past moments affecting our hearts, but then does our future too force an affect too upon our present, pulling us towards a destined meet.

I only mention this because on TV writers know where they intend to take the characters, so in a way the characters and actors know too, so you would expect that 'knowing' nature, that loss of the unknown aspect of life, to be apparent in the scene, the characterizations, and most often it does HOWEVER MJHT had this ability to keep a hold of it. So many times I was holding my heart, fearing the next, the actors the words, I did not know what to expect next, yet was able to hope that destiny would 'save the day.'

Another reason MJHT seemed so real. Very remarkable.

hey sabah *hugs* that faithji was out of respect😆 nah kidding, i love pulling your leg🤗😉 the forum is really empty these days ain't it. i am loving the wonderfall show man, the lead couple are so cute and have such a sweet chemistry, i am so totally jane, the girl rocks! its a shame the show got cancelled. now, its true that i have never been in love but i dont think even if i do, i will find letters like that sweet man like seriously how does nuptials rhyme with cupfulls🤣🤣 i think jane-eric are anti-thesis of MN. jane seems to be the practical cold one and eric is the romantic sweet one, i will YT some more of their scenes have i ever told you i love tom cruise, i even wanted to marry him😆 top gun is one of my all time fav movies, it was in that i heard i think i love you aaand i fell in love with TC. remember how everyone calls him 'maverick' in that movie, i told all my friends to call me the same😆 my fav part of the song
I don't know what I'm up against.
I don't know what it's all about.
I got so much to think about.

Hey, I think I love you.
So what am I so afraid of?
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of
A love there is no cure for.

I think I love you.
Isn't that what life is made of?
Though it worries me to say
That I've never felt this way.
one of the most adorable songs ever, especially loved the line 'a love there is no cure for' its innocent sweet and honest all the same. you know i am terrified of horror movies and scream series gave me a near heartattack, this guy is cute too bad he dies in the end.
well, i am posting one more epi of mjht where i adore each and every dialogue, the one where mayank gets drunk,

the normal adorable rating of mayank is 8 on 10 but when he gets drunk it is 100 on 10😍😍 this epi scored phenomenal in cuteness and adorable ratings. right from the part where mayank is like 'nupur tum baitho' gets out of the auto and near-yells 'i will go home with nupur ONLY'😆☺️ awwwwwwwwww he is a cutiepie. then he circles around the auto and nupur ' yaha se bhi gus sakthe'😆😆 random observation, the auto driver was smiling the whole time😆 he must have enjoyed it as well. after going home at the door 'maaa kya main andar aa saktha hoon?' such an obedient baccha😳😳 when nupur is taking his shoes off he says 'pyaar se'🤣🤣 then he calls her 'jhansi ki rani nupur kumari'🤣🤣 mayu gave nups promotion from 'heroine' to 'jhansi ki rani'😆 and then ofcourse the most heart-warming 'dil se sorry, duniya me jitne sorry wo sab sorry' no couple can get any cuter than mayank-nupur really.
i have a theory about the drunk mayank, i think drunk mayank is the alter-ego of the actual mayank. mayank as we know is sombre silent and does not display his emotions easily but the drunk mayank is everything but that. he is really very loud, he is quite vocal about him wanting to be with nupur, has an excellent tantrum throwing ability😆😆 mayank was breaking vases in his room because no one has asked him water😲😆 throwing a fit because he is not given attention is so NOT mayank and yeah he has retained some of his original traits as well like his nerd sensibilities, he does not want to miss lecture searching for shoes🤣🤣 the same goes for nupur as well, the drunk nupur was not the usual nupur who gets into verbal fight with mayank when he taunts her. she does not say a thing when he goes on about her 'chhote dimag'😆 she gives him compliments and tells him he is a nice guy something nupur would never do at that time. she is mellow, lets her guard down and retains some of her original traits as well like her relating everything to movies etc,. i know the whole point of getting nupur/mayank drunk was to get them dance to random bollywood numbers but this was the time when the makers put thought to what they were showing on-screen, so i guess they thought of showing us the alternate personalities of them. post some of your fav scenes/dialogues too
love
