Many people were asking whether there is any word/page limit for the story. I wouldn't impose any strict limits for this because writers should be given the freedom to express themselves. If the story is gripping, readers will be interested in reading, irrespective of length. Anyway, since this is a contest and we need to read and rate them within a week, I would suggest that you limit the story to 10-12 pages in MS Word. This is not a strict rule, but just a guideline.

@ visrom You mentioned that the CID team has to be the present team, is it compulsory to include all the characters? Even in CID episodes not all the characters are included always, for example, Dr. Sonali is missing in some recent episodes.

No, it's not compulsory to include everyone.
