had not read that article earlier... it sort of confirms my suspicions... babita is definitely responsible for her own daughter's divorce... i have heard plenty of stories... whatever sanjay's faults, karishma and her mom are equally at fault... karishma because she listened to her mother... 😕

i know of many mothers who encourage their daughters to manipulate and lie to their husbands... and i've seen many cases where the husband does not appreciate interference from the wife's mother and her family... it always causes friction in a marriage...

honestly, karishma might have been dependant on her mom, but she does has a brain naa... very stupid of her of stay away from her husband in another city... if she had invested more time in the relationship, who knows... things might have been different...

but anyways... everything happens for a reason... but if she continues to let her mother interfere in her life, she'll end up just like babita... for her sake, i hope she can stand up to her mom and make her own decisions... with an open mind...!!

I agree Nuktacheen, I mean how docile can you possibly be?

It would be the easiest thing in the world to blame Sanjay, but I feel both are at fault here. If karisma never loved Sanjay or wasnt interested in him, she shoudl never have married him in the first place.

lets not even get started with babita, but I do feel that babita attempted to prevent lolo from going through a similar relatoinship she went through wtih Randhir (son living under his father's shadow), but ended up majorly screwing up her daughter's life.

I've heard even worst stories of babita. Stories that she pushed Karisma to producers and directors. God knows what she had to do.

Lolo in turn has shielded Kareena like a hawk. Maybe she didnt want her lil sis to go through what she went through.

Its just unfair. Push one daughter through hell to be the bread earner, while shielding the other. I dont understand Babita at all

babita completely used her daughters... i think karishma was responsible for shielding kareena... if it were upto babita, she would have done the same with kareena, that she did with karishma...!! and i'm quite certain that the escort rumours are also true... again, i blame babita... what kind of a mother is she.... 🤢

babita was okay with using sanjay's money for herself, though he is karishma's husband.... but she has a problem that he was living in his father's shadow....? i don't buy that... i find her to be a very selfish woman... she is blinded by the world of glitz and glamour... and just because she couldn't have that life, she wanted to live her dream through her daughter... that's the only reason why she wanted them to enter bollywood, when they were little kids... i don't think either karishma or kareena had any say in that matter... from the time they were kids, babita must have fed it into their minds...

and yes, it's easy to blame sanjay... but really, karishma did not help the relationship any by denying him the love of their daughter.... and she never really spend much time with him either... they just used his money, that was all...

i think eraser gave a really good example, of how some snakes eat their own eggs... babita definitely fits that description...!! 😡

well, maa aakhir maa hoti hai... no matter how she is...! 😳 especially in our cultural setting.... though, i see a lot of imitation of west in our culture, that influence is yet to sink in...!
