Chalhov ... thanks for the TRPs ... Zee is stuck at being less than mediocre ... and it is apparent as to why it is now waking up from its deep slumber and trying to decipher what clicks with the audience 😕 😆

Misti ... thanks for the article ... if what is stated is true, Zee is being very tyrannical 😡... they cannot and should not prevent their actors, some of whom have been nominated for awards, from attending the awards ceremony

Chalhov I was flipping through the photos of Indian Telly awards and saw actors playing the roles of Shekhar and Ranvijay from AJ and Vandu and Ajit from PR .Didn't see the other current Zee actors.

Also the main awards have been won by either SP or Colors.......According to the PR forum PR did not get any awards....so due to politics some good actors from Zee lost out this year in these Telly awards..

Thanks Misti for info that none from Z won any awards n i m happy for it.. specially for PR (really sorry to PR fans here as seriously not want to demean any of its efforts) as i dont seee any reason why only this serial Z gives so much of importance everywhere and others are treated second fiddle to it ..is it coz some hidden agenda with PH Or simply Z's inabilty to command over this PH like they enjoy over other PHs...I hate these double stds and the result is in front of us to see....

was watching U me aur TV and something serial jaise koi nahi and saw these two people saw Shekar with his wife and Ranvijay of AJMBHK and no one from zee whom I could recognise.

I think its to do with EK.......most probably no one wants to mess with her. She knows how to tell a story and most probably she does not like people messing with her story telling. She also tends to go for the long term gain instead of some PHs who only focus on short term gains. Plus I have read that she does not forgive and forget easily, so thats why no one wants to mess with her.

Surprising...Zee got a lot of awards last year.I think the deserving got the awards this year. Indian telly awards did a good job last year too(unlike ITA where TRPs is the main criterion). In 2009 ITA gave the best actor award to an actor, whose fans even admit that he can't act, just cos his serial was the no1 in the TAMs. Im not saying this cos a few of my fav won. IMO Zee ATM doesn't have powerhouse performers except for Ratan rajput. They are good but not the best. They don't have actors to match someone like harshad or ronit roy or parul or ragini. Those i mentioned above are given a lot of publicity but they are superb in the acting department.
Yes. Ekta was like that. A lot of actors have suffered for going against her wishes. The male lead in SSBS is one of them. But now she has changed her ways a little. Not sure but rem reading an interview of hers where she said that she regretted certain things she had done. She has gotten back with star and sony after huge fallout. The female lead in TL had actually walked out of an earlier serial of hers after shooting for a week. Few years back had this happened, ekta would have not cast her in a serial of hers ever again. But yes till now she never allows any1 to interfere much in her serials. She backs her actors a lot and makes sure that they get a lot of publicity.
ZRA IMO is a publicity stunt by the channel for their upcoming shows... not only to remind the audience of all the successful serials that they had offered in the past but also tell them that they do respect viewer opinion(by announcing CB2).

Like you too in my opinion an actor who is capable of delivering power house performance for any Zee TV show that is currently running is Ratan Rajput. That girl has something in her that makes her stand out in any scene even when seasoned actors are present with her. Some are natural actors and Ratan falls in that category. Unfortunately like CB, the lack of a tight screenplay has effected Ratans chances this year.I have read about the fiasco between the lead of SSBS and EK.....also another actor was RK the hero of Amir. From the way EK deals with PR and her full support of the leads in the show, it is quite clear that she is promoting them. Which is very good for them. As for Zee Rishte awards, its all publicity stunt.
