I'll know more when I get to it. My daughter is tight lipped about everything I ask. She says you finish reading and then we will discuss it. She did not even confirm for me that invisiblity cloak theory I came up with based on the first book and this latest movie.
Nope the epilogue does not seal the series really. It just is a jarring uncharacteristic travesty. In fact I would rather have had JK Rowling swear a blood oath never to write another Potter Book than publish that bit of utter trash called the Epilogue.
You read the whole series and then you flip the page to the epilogue. All of a sudden you are transported to Forks, WA where Edward and Bella live sparkling ever after, with their sparking little babies. At least Edward and Bella would have had a wolf of a son in law.
The epilogue is too cliched, too conformist, too cheesy and all that. When you write a series that is so non conformist, that deals with so many dark themes and elements like politics, racism etc. When you have characters that defy the normal bold - you don't end them with such a cliched conformist end.
