**Should the slap be justified?**

Well I just saw the repeat episode and after watching it; the episode made my creative cells to work again. After many days we have got such an episode that it made me think all over again about the current track. The current track focuses on ones self respect and what Geet did was acceptable from my point of view.

See when Maan tries to impose himself upon her; it was not due to any love and understanding. It was purely egoistic step and his ego made him hurt Geet the way he did yesterday. He is equally in pain as Geet; but Geet can bear the pain as she is a woman. It is rightly said that woman can sustain a pain in their heart with a large smile on their face. It is natures law that woman have high pain sustaining power.

So when Maan wants to dance with Geet; he did it out of pain and anguish. Basically he was trying to prove to himself more than the world that I care no more about Geet. That Geet's presence doesn't affect him. It very well affects him; so even after dancing with the other female; when Geet doesn't react he gets angrier and in that moment he clasps Geet and pulls her closer.

If you see closely there is pain; hurt; betrayal visible in his eyes so as Geet but as destiny has it's way they are now on all together different paths. They will again have to fight destiny to be together. Because that's what experiences have taught them.

Now coming to the dance sequence; well the way he handles Geet was very bad, it was a disgusting dance to watch. I mean Maan would never stoop so low. Whatever happened before and shall happen; Maan has always respected Geet and her honor but just because he thinks she betrayed him; he has no right to treat her like this. And when he tried to be too close; Geet slapped him. he was taking undue advantage of Geet; she is his love but love cant get possessive when the other person starts to hurt you physically as well as mentally.

Geet actions are very well justified as they have separated as she wants to prove to the world that she is Geet. For her; her self respect is the only thing that matters. And you might bash Geet but if you read my whole post you will agree that the slap was just needed. Maan has to have a control over his feelings.

So I hope my long post didn't bore you; but when it comes to Maaneet I can't shut my mouth.

i fully agree wid u mayuri!!maan needs a slap badly n 1 slap z nt enough 4 him.he shud b slapped twice by geet n then she shud hold him by the collar n ask him wat do u want mr msk??sir z used 2 denote respect bt he crossed his limits n tat ws rude 2.he dint even care she z pregnant.wat if she loses her child coz of him?she ll never 4give him n even if they ll mend ways this is gonna remain btw them 4evr.i want her 2 lose the child so we cn c more passionate maaneet bt tat nt by maaan!!

I justify d slap coz it put an end(only for the moment) to Maan's somewhat hysterical dance ! The only thing that comes to my mind when something happens to Geet is her baby ! I have always disliked the move of d cvs of not connecting Maan to d baby in any way !

No i dont think she should justify it now,because today he has crossed all the limits.i want to add here that he has done this before too ,and Geet didnt reacted like this to that but she just cry out her heart and wants to stay away from him,but it didnt happened.so today she should just leave him without uttering a word and let him feel how arrogant he was towards her.its not that he is not hurt but being a woman i can't stop myself from supporting Geet.

I agree yes a woman has all the right to defend her...and a slap is required when there is a reason but under no circumstance just to save her false self respect a woman should malign other's self respect....Maan is no stranger to Geet..He is her lover...Her friend...So even if he was being forceful she could have handled him in a better manner...A slap to a your lover is objectionable irrespective whether it is coming from a woman or man.
