Thanks for the link, Madhavi.
I love Annamayya and Ramadas keerthanas too. I just can't live without them and my BhagavadGita by Ghantasala.

Where do you get a hold of this from? My in-laws live in Chennai, not sure if they could get a hold of these. I also want to get a good sound quality ShankaraBharanam CD. Don't know if they can find it in Chennai for me. My mother's side live in Andhra but my parents live in Africa.
(actually I was exposed to more Telugu movies, songs in Africa than here).

I lived in Chennai too, but I'm not sure if you could find this in Chennai anymore (you could try though). You certainly will be able to find them in AP. I'll also forward you website that I came across a while ago which had Ghantasala's Bhagavadgita (I don't know if you can download though).

Yeah me too. But it was more of the movie songs than the classical or devotional. I always enjoyed them though. BTW, drop the 'ji'. Thanks for the link. I also want MS's song on the 10 avatars of Vishnu.

Thanks for the offer AD. If it's not too much trouble, sure go ahead.

Will see if I can get my Andra-based relatives to aquire some of these classics. They do visit Chennai, every-so often. My dad's side also lives there.

Wonderful Ghantasala gari Shrimad Bhagavad Gita

The audio can be found in various stores in Hyderabad and Bangalore as well if I am not mistaken. You can also request for it online.

On Carnatic music, specifically if any of are you are avid Tyagayya lovers and are in the USA, The Cleveland Tyagaraja Aaradhana Utsavalu are a treat, bring in an good mix of the young 4 year olds to some established pro's. Several websites like Sangeetam.com, Karnatik.com have audio bits of many Raagas.

There are lot of other Ghantasala's rare private songs in the site too. Check them out, especially "Pushpa vilapam" and "Pushpanjali" (Pushpa Vilapam Part 2).

Srianne, Thank you very much for the link...simply love Ghantasala's Pushpavilapam.....
