After wiping away my glycerine tears....i had to share with the enire cast of Sangini....i thought i should post a celebratory note to the wedding and the couple....
Why oh why? does a wedding episode have to have such dirgy awful dramatiiik mujiiik?? ....and why so many pauses and shots of everyone's face?....a good ten minutes went by....ok got it....it's a lot easier to shoot pregnant pauses than have some dialogue or action.
Additi has been a bride so many times, both she and I have stopped counting. She does look stunning as a bride, and it gets milked for all its worth. So inbetween yawning (sorry AG..but I had an overdose of wedding regalia) I was trying to catch the expressions of the others...
Rajrani! Oh she is good! Arunaji doing all those famous expressions....you know....looking sober while trying to hide her glee....and when the couple came to her to get her blessings....it was a good moment. Probably the highlight for me. To have her in the same frame as AG is a special treat.
Jankiji, Pihu's Ma was looking like the security woman. I was pretty intimidated...no messing with her yesterday! The way she kept a firm hand on priyamvada and ordered her around....maybe Abhay should hire her.
There wasn't going to be any amateur theatrics at the mandap this time....Abhay magically appeared on time...and within a minute it was all over....the wedding took less time than one of those looooooong stares or shocked looks that went through the entire episode. And I was annoyed that Rudr had to fight with some random Ratnesh goons on the way....the whole fight looked ridiculous....come on, poor guy is unwell and they make him do that? It was unnecessary. and where was champu? hiding behind Gauri's pallu?
