Hindi under attack......

Aight this has been bugging me for quite a while now.........Bollywood is geared towards all of India, correct? Okay so why is it that Bollywood lately seems to be favoring regional languages more and more over the mother tongue, Hindi? Just look at the current season of Sa Re Ga Ma where a regional language like Punjabi has become such a force in Bollywood that we have punjabi songs being sung pretty much in every episode.........Songs with english lyrics are becoming a norm in Bollywood as well......Why are we letting our mother tongue, Hindi being marginalized by regional languages? Regional languages are just that, regional.......they should not be dumped on the nation as a whole at the expense of our mother tongue, Hindi...........

^we've had a similar topic before.. and besides, Hindi isn't everyone's mother tongue, it's not mine.

Hindi is not my mother tongue either but yes, it is a national language
