hey all,
been a long time since i made a collective MJHT post - the last i remembered was during the Movie track - when Neel - one guy had come and rocked the boats of the lives of all the 4 leads unknown to even him
he had caused the lives of the gang to have a major change while he influenced them ... intentionally or unintentionally
this was the last track of season 1 - which had given us the cliffhanger.. before the tragic accident - where SGMN had started to look beyond just the romance and focus on life and future - basically the larger picture... a track we all loved for its freaking brilliance
as though it being a collective track it was individually dealt on all levels - i mean yes there were couples and their issues - but there wasnt merely a SaJan or a MayUr thing - we had Samrat Gunjan Nupur and Mayank too in the track being focused at
The richest guy of the lot - Sam dint have money matters or career to be worried for as is the case with all rich guys with fortunes to their credit - however - he learned the need to make his and Gunjan' relationship official - getting over the demons of his past where his parents broken marriage made his resolve to take the step shaky - he finally realized his future may not be a replica of his parents - he may not lose Gunjan if he marries her rather.. otherwise
Gunjan - the girl grown up in the shadows of a very popular bubbly sister in her small town and then becoming the girlfriend of the most popular guy in the college - one who is loved and adored by all - realized she wants to make it on her own - Gunjan never dreamed of being an actress - but yes when Sam convinced her to act - we saw she had dreams to be on her own too - she wanted to be someone apart from the people who love her - she wanted to be on her own
now here was something rather interesting - Neel was directly related to SaJan but he influenced MayUr too ...
Mayank - as we saw Mayank one day look at neel his confidence his focus - he was reminded of his own self - we saw mayank apply for a scholarship to materialize his dreams into truth - the guy who grew up in a single parent household returning to fulfill his desires so that he can now do what his heart always told him to - make it big - so that his mom may be proud of him and he may now take over to give her that much needed rest
and Nupur - Nupur was a dreamer too - one who wanted to make it big in showbiz - but when she lost the chance - she dint sat around being disheartened instead - she found a new calling and applied unknowingly for the same scholarship as mayank - and won it too .. so that she may forge a name of her own as well while she supports her hubby
in short the track dealt with the leads thinking ahead retaining the essence of their characters - and also their own individual upbringings - the humble and the rich backgrounds
this on the whole lead to what caused SaJan' engagement and MayUr' trip to the US

this was season 1 - now post leap in season 2 it is actually a very apt time for the makers to focus once again on these issues - post the amnesia track and needs to be carefully dealt with
the gang isnt a bunch of teenagers anymore nor are they students .. they are ADULTS - i wish and hope post Nupur regains her memory we get another freaking brilliant sensible mature track for both the couples who actually are at an very interesting juncture in their lives
they have spent 3 years away from each other as couples and individuals ... i hope the makers show something on these lines - where we see them act as per their age and deal with their issues separately - where each character and couple - though connected is dealt individually as well
i know that's a tall order for the makers of this show - ah but one can be wishful 🤔
note - please no bashing snide remarks or digs at any couple - the people on this forum know i refrain from these practices - i respect your POV - I expect the same too
