I honestly dont mind any route that Cvs take as long as they justify Nupur's absence for three years. There must be a valid and a very STRONG reason for Nupur to stay away from her family for the past three years... as knowing Nupur, who usually cant live without Mayank.... it must be serious enough that she took such a decision for the benefit of all.

Having that said what I feel...maybe Nupur remembers her past and there is some serious issue that is causing her to stay away. (maybe she has some illness? or i dont know etc.. ) which again if this is the track then am happy .. just make sure its heart wrenching to know why she took a step.... as she is not only effecting her life but Mayank's as well by taking this decision :)

If they want to take the other route... again whatever is shown i just suggest that dont miss out on the emotions because it becomes difficult to connect with the character if you dont see the story through his or her eyes.
