If Radhika is found to be pregnant tomorrow will MR foul-mouth Radhika especially because she has already disclosed the fact to Abhay that she is aware of the intimacy shared by him with Radhika or will it be used to review the situation and cause some major damage to Radhika? In the eyes of the society Dev and Radhika are husband and wife, it is only in the eyes of MR that he is Abhay.,will she be forced into a situation to accept Abhay as Dev. MR's doing away with Radhika is the only option left so that she can establish Abhay as Dev and Kanika as RP. When Abhay gets to know this, will he get rid of the guilt and obligation towards MR for good?
Are the CV's going for the emotional track to draw the audience? It is far better than the melo-dram if they can up with good dialogues and portray feelings which is a part of human behaviour. I still have my hopes that this track will be dealt with properly and thereby justify the leap and the difficult days the PB family had to go thro' in the absence of Dev.

Kannika or MR being the two people telling the truth to Abhay was one of my choices but I will prefer if he realises this himself........the initial story has been butchered a lot by the creatives and if they do show Abhay realising that he is Dev then it might be saved somewhat. For that MR attack might do the job......I think we both now this. But now with this closing down news floating about, if it is true will they also show memory returning back quickly? What a waste.

Radha. I will prefer exploration of emotions as the basis of the track anyday over melodrama........but again are these writers capable enough to write the powerful and effective dialogues needed for an emotional track, where gimmicks do not have any place. I seriously doubt it and it all depends on whether this show will continue or be given a sudden end with all the loose ends still hanging.

Thankyou.
😉

I am watching the show after a couple of weeks, and caught up by reading up on a couple of episodes ... also watched an episode a few days back

I have always loved the character of Dev bcos he had the right streak of idealism, capacity to empathize, a quality of wanting to do the right thing but was also passionate enough to go after what he wanted. He managed to juggle and balance what was needed of him as a RP but did not give up on what he wanted as a person. He had a larger than life persona in some instances - this took away from the dreariness of watching the female lead being abused and made you believe that she was protected and cared for. Not only that, I primarily liked the fact that he was uniformly respectful and protective of all women, not just Rads and always believed in doing the right thing. I liked and understood why he behaved the way he did after causing Vish's miscarriage

All yes and your last sentence regarding Vishaka..this is why I got irritated when they showed Dev slapping Vishaka.......that day for the sake of cheap gimmicks and melodrama they brought down Dev tremendously for me.

So while Rads is definitely the main character in this show and helped draw me in, for me the show became more interesting and differentiated itself from other shows bcos of the way they characterized Dev. Avinash and Rubina were excellent in their respective roles and got me hooked to the show

Yes

I dont even know where to begin now 😡
Oh good ...you are ranting........
I liked what they showed of Abhay initially and this track could have been handled so beautifully if, at a minimum, they had focussed on Abhay emotions ... It is appalling that they have treated the male lead (and a favorite one at that) in such a shabby manner
- took more than a month to show Abhay's point of view and reasons for his actions ... at a minimum they should have shown this from day one.
- today, when they show his POV, why is he shown blaming Rads for their SR ... if he is so much in favor of dharm, wont he blame himself for SR...
- what is the point of having a five year leap and not showing how one of the victims of the leap feels ... how does a man feel if he has not had any relationship with his wife for 5 years and does not remember anything ... also when he suddenly feels an intense attraction for a woman he has just met and is the rest of the time just staring at a payal and kissing up to his MIL... what a horrible life that must be!!
- SR was such a huge mistake and i was hoping it was his/her imagination ... how do they even justify his rant of meri biwi after this ... why mess with his character in this way?
- i thought Avinash did a great job of capturing the essence of abhay .... but they gave him no dialogues except to have him stare endlessly at a payal, say meri biwi mera bacha a few times and then alternatively either gaze at Rads adoringly or look at her in anger ... what a waste of a track !!!

Avinash's acting was good but was not again consistent.......I can't blame him for this, if there is no screenplay, no dialogues and no one to guide you it is very difficult for the actors to portray emotions consistently. They need something to work on and here Avinash for most of the time did not have anything.

Now, they have brought back Abhay the original ... so instead of this being an emotional connection and a divine love story, it has become a detective who done it kind of story ... kanika and rajjan possibly will get the credit for revealing the truth ... i thought this story was about dev and radhika rediscovering each other ... instead it seems to be abt rajjan and kanika

I actually do not know who this track is about........I think it is about Radhika and Rajjan.......the two logical characters in the show now.

I am losing hope that these set of writers even know who or what they are writing for ... forget abt dev they are not even consistent with how they portray abhay

Exactly....I have kept Dev aside because that Dev might not return.......and Abhay he is one confused person who is confusing everyone...that just shows the confusion present in the writers head.

The only thing i would tell zee tv as they launch new shows is that building up new characters that people love and want to watch and choosing the right actors to play those roles is not an easy task, as they can see from the TRPs of their new shows. When you have all of that , why do you mess it up? Writing future story lines involving enough drama, emotion should be relatively easy for this show if they would only put on their thinking caps ... why are they finding it so hard?

Why are they finding it so hard.......well actually they are not, they are just not interested. If they had been then they would have got decent writers.

Misti,
When i put my comments today I was not aware of the news floating
about the closure of the show.
Just a thought, if they are going for a quick closure will it end up as a tragedy? The forum and the audience will feel even terribly let-down if this happens when the people to be punished go scot free and the real bhakt ends up with the rough end of the stick.
Whether it is a tragedy ora happy ending it is not going to have the lasting effect if the show gets pulled off suddenly. This track has the potential to make up for the previous blunders. I do hope they manage to give a meaningful ending to the show.

If they end it as tragedy then will zee and DJs survive the backlash? Anyway it is a tragedy of some sort that a beautiful show has been reduced to this.

This track has the potential and a sudden end will be a disaster.........they could have continued it for some more months and tied the loose ends........but the condition of screenplay and dialogues makes me suspect that the Producers have lost interest in the show.

Now that the news of CB closing are floating around (true in my opinion as even Hanuman is gone from the show), I just hope that they close this track properly. At least now show Abhay deciding on his own that he may be Dev, rejecting Chipko and MR, getting some brains and figuring it out. Then, getting all the proofs against MR and getting her arrested after exposing her fully the way they did in Uttaran. Finally, show Dev and Radhika coming together after some good emotional episodes and show some nice happy ending with both of them happy with their family. As far as Amma is concerned, not even sure that they are going to bring that anymore because it seems that they are trying to finish the show with minimal number of actors. So, we the audience would never get that closure. But. at least close this track properly. Don't show Chipko suddenly turning good and being forgiven for all her misdeeds. Don't show that she gets married to this Abhay and is now living happily. Show that the guy rejects her and takes away her son.

Chalhov,
I used to watch Kasam Se. It was good in the beginning, but by the time it wnt off air it was terrible. In Saath Phere also I heard the main lead was killed and people subsequently did not like the story line. Dulhan, with the Sindoora tantrum was so unbearable. according to me CB has not yet reached that stage, they should be given ample time to tie the loose ends and give a great ending to the story. Incidentally this is the first serial which I have watched right from the beginning and I intend to watch till the very end. This friday marks the 450th episode of the serial. I hope they end it by the 500th by having proper closures to have a lasting impact.
