The first option is not valid since Sid had not left for the conference at that point.He was watching Riddhima cry,remember?

That's what I thought earlier but some DMGians said that apparently Sid was already gone for the conference in today's episode. So I am guessing that he comes home early and hopes to surprise Riddhima, but he sees her crying for Armaan and gets upset. But I'm sure the scene where Sid sees Riddhima crying will lead up to the Basketball Court promo. 😉

She is most definitely crying for Armaan. She is yearning to be able to just hug Armaan one time. She wants to go back to him but she feels that her marriage with Sid is restricting her to do so. She is obligated to stay with Sid due to legal relations. But her heart wants Armaan and Armaan only. I just hope she can reunite with him soon. And I hope the show doesn't and soon if AR unite again. Because then we will get to see loads of masti and pyar once again. I just wish there never was a Season 2 and that shooting in Season 1 had never happened. There would have been AR today, but maybe soon there will be again.😊
