Deep inside the heart,

Was dug the unfolded part,

Nobody ever cared to open.

Deep inside the heart,

Lay the immortal darkness,

Never ending blackness,

Which nobody seemed to witness!

Deep inside the heart,

Was dug the dream,

The eyes feared to see,

Letting them be!

Deep inside the heart,

Lay the feeling, so pure,

A disease, impossible to cure,

And the cheerfulness,

The eyes had lost long before.

Deep inside the heart,

Lay the lost self,

The shattered self,

Absolutely nothing but emptiness,

In myself!

You write beautifully Kanks, and I keep telling you this again and again.
It was really beautiful and touching.

That was one Superb poem dear!!👏
Loved it to the core.. 😊

Even I write Poems sometimes,

Poems always give a glimpse of the poet's mind/mindset...

Yours did too...

A feeling of something left behind, regretted, missed...
A feeling of loneliness😭..

and the thing that i liked was that

u dint give it an optimistic end note(u know,a happy ending sort of)

and that's why it was realistic and touching...😊

and also i felt like it ended too soon i wanted it to continue,

Anyway...

Do keep writing dear,would love to read more 😃
