I and a classmate (a guy) were crossing the road. The road divider was actually quite high and it required quite some effort to cross it. My classmate was obviously taller,so he effortlessly crossed over. I was a bit late, so was stuck in the middle of the road after jumping over the divider. The guy had by then reached the other side. (Chivalry was dead, you know)

I tried to cross in a hurry and an auto almost hit me...he applied a sudden break. The tyre just hit my foot, nothing serious. There was some chaos...the traffic was heavy and it caused a jam. The traffic policeman appeared on the scene too. Some of them were scolding me...some were shouting at the auto guy and my classmate was silently watching.

I pulled out the last straw from my bag...looked at the policeman and smiled and said 'sorry sir'. He immediately cooled down and allowed me to cross and helped disperse the crowd.

I crossed the road and scolded my classmate...and he said...had it been him, the crowd would have beaten him black and blue. 😆

(Was imagining Aditya sir in that situation)
