I'd say this is the best singing I've heard from Shreya Ghoshal. And arguably the best in the entire competition thus far.

Fantastic Song by Shreya! Angelic Voice & Delicate Singing 👏

Its a difficult song to sing, shreya's voice her expressions were all mindblowing! Specially I loved the way how she delicately & beautifully rendered these lines:

Kaali Kaali Raatein Kaali raaton main

Yeh badarvaa Baras jaayega

Gali Gali mujhko Megha dhoondega

Aur Garaj ke Palat jayegaa.......Hooo

Ghar aangan angnaaa Aur paani Ka jharna

Bhoolna jana mujhee sab puchenge varnaa

That was just too Good I must say, then I also loved the attitude she showed in her singing in the following lines:

Re behke chali main toh behke chali

Re kehke chali main toh kehke chali

Re megha na na re na na re naa re

3 things make this song superb & lively. Shreya's beautiful melodious voice, flute and the drum beats. Actually, the drum beats are very prominent but no where they intrude in the song. Its in the background and soothing when shreya is singing, and when she isnt singing the beats are in the foreground. This is a Typical A R Rehman classic!

A PERFECT 10/10, No Doubt👏

Thanx RA for selecting Barso re u made my day, its raining out here in India & after listening to Barso I feel like going out & dance in the rain carefree!😛

The beautiful words strike you as soon as you are gripped by the soft yet powerful voice of Shreya Ghoshal. The "rain song" has the soft feel of gentleness in it. Shreya's voice captivates & is mesmerising in the song.

Definitely a 10/10 Performance😊

A beautiful composition by AR Rehman. Shreya went ahead and showed her naughty side of it in her voice.

Parts in between like "jal jal jal chal chal chal" are just the best part of the song.

Bhool na jaana mujhe, Sab puche gey warna 😳

one extra mark for scale of singing. perfect.

one extra mark for voice modulation. perfect.

one extra mark for energy. perfect.

one extra mark for attitude. perfect.

one extra mark for voice clarity. perfect.

one final extra mark for the overall composition. Perfect.

But...but...I give it a 9.5😉. Its the last round, so a bit stricter😳.
Its bloody close to all round perfection.
In one word, its one track that has everything that you need to suit almost every occasion.
And an avantgarde singer like Shreya does not need an introduction or a description.
Its all for you to hear and appreciate.

Apparently some people think I was going to force RA to select an Anu Malik song for Shreya in the final round. 😆

Don't worry guys, I love this song and the singing in it! I think it was the first time Shreya sang a Hindi song for Rahman - what a way to start off the collaboration!

Besides Shreya & Sonu, I am a very big fan of A R Rehmans music. I have one ARR song to share, its Munbe vaa, although I dont understand tamil but I can feel the intense love & the emotions in it & I ll say is its the beautifully composed song by ARR, he is a genius, & Shreya is as usual mindblowing.
