As they say ,
" Sometimes the happiest people you meet are the saddest people you will ever know."
Today , when we saw another side of Shilpa, this seemed to hold so true. I am not being judgmental. Both ArShi are at fault - Shilpa for being immature and wicked in making pulp out of Armaan and Armaan for being equally irresponsible and insensitive in making a budding doctor believe for a lifetime that she finished a patient.
Anyway, that's over and today, I feel that they both redeemed themselves over their nonsensical hurt to each-other by exposing what lies beneath. Shilpa with her vulnerability and Armaan with his sensitivity.
As Shilpa looked at Armaan with her tearful eyes, and spoke her heart , you knew that she was equally to blame for pushing Armaan to these limits , but you also saw that Shilpa was not angry. She was not - she was deeply wounded - wounded that Armaan actually went to the extent of letting her live with guilt stones for an entire lifetime. When she tells him that she would never go this low , you know that playing pranks is one thing and bearing them is another. But what gets to you is that she is too vulnerable and she just hides it behind that opaque veil of feisty firecracker. Armaan sees her fear , her shock, her hurt and that's why he lets her talk and does not interrupt or get angry at her. She is hurt - I did not great shakes - let her talk. And Shilpa goes away.... no angry words ... just big eyes with pools of tears. Armaan tries to stop her but she goes away..... Lonely people often do that - at their worst, they seek the darkest corners where nobody would see them.
Like Riddhima ( I tell you , they just have to be sisters , dono ki dono har situation mein FE mein jaakar rotee hain ) , Shilpa seeks a quiet corner and just cries quietly.
Armaan goes looking for his Dhanno.... and NO... he is not looking for his Dhanno to say SORRY. He wants peace and he wants to convey something to her and that is CEASEFIRE.
He finds his badi-badi aankhonwaali in the FE and even though , he doesn't know how to approach her , in his typical Armaan logical innocence , he tells her that if you play pranks, you need to learn to be a part of them as well. I am not innocent - you are not innocent - so, let's cut this out and please stop crying. Shilpa doesn't look at him and yet , quite in a symbolic way , she marks him with her tears. She doesn't want to have anything to do with him and she tells him that she doesn't need his kind words.... she is STRONGER. And she goes away , leaving Armaan with her tears soaked in his handkerchief.
Armaan really did want to end the fight but Shilpa was at her worst plane of vulnerability. So, right intentions but totally wrong timing. Shilpa is all alone and perhaps she is wary of anybody offering her support when she she is at her weakest. Perhaps, she knows that at the end of the day, she is all alone and has to fend for herself , so why even look at hope? Shilpa's reaction to Armaan's kindness was her defence mechanism to keep him walled out.
During the duties' distribution , you know that Shilpa wants to keep away from Armaan - he wants to end the war, she doesn't. Yes, on the surface Shilpa was unreasonable - but deep down, her reasons are her fears and her vulnerability. Armaan was being a professional and he wanted to put the fights behind but Shilpa wants to keep Armaan behind.... way behind.
Shilpa is just a sad little girl who lives on tantrums and fun to hide herself from the world and Armaan is her future backbone as the handkerchief symbolized.
Love and luck always to everyone,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗
