yes Shashi was very besura in that song xcept for wen he played with "LAYAM" in the end while singing...Rahoon Naaaa Rahoon...
It is a very difficult thing to control...because he compensated the the beats of the tabla n dholak...

I believe he went besura only for a split second while singing, "palko mein chupa loon seene mein samaa loon"....other than that, it was a splendid effort!

why am i not surprised........this is typical of Indian Idol......the good ones always get eliminated............looks like the junta loves to listen to besure singers.
