Dear freinds,
I am returning to routine life and to the forum, after a long time.
As this forum and its members are closest to my heart , I have something to share, infact a confession, about which i feel guilty.
I remember "hating" the show "Geet" even before its promos were out as it was said to replace LNMDJ. And when promos and more info were out, I remember saying to myself - who is this girl Geet and who is Gurmeet Chowdhuri to replace my Prida or Varni or Savni !
That is till true, no one can replace Prida for me - infact I watched GK's next show for quite sometime , unbearably, in the hope of finding another story to watch regularly, but just couldnt stomach it and ditched it after a while. Rishta.com became a favourite , but I discovered it too late and its winding up now.
What I am here to confess to you all today , is that I checked Geet out, initially while flipping channels and while occassionally checking out karan's new serial "Odhni..", and friends, I began to like the serial.its about the life of a girl going from weakness to strength, Its story is moving quite fast , not dragging like other serials, there are twists in the tale and the chemistry between the current lead pair is intense, if you have watched it build up slowly from the initial episodes.
It is still true that No show can take the place of LNMDJ in my heart , but I must admit Geet is a good show and after LNMDJ stopped airing, this is the show that gives me atleast some satisfaction to watch .
We are all LNMDJians first and last , but in case you want to , do check out this show Geet , which probably we all started out by hating. Nothing can be like LNMDJ , and to me , no one can be like PriDa, but I am glad I have something to watch at 9.30 that's worth following, atleast so far, I dont knowif the CV's will spoil it in future !
I am missing all of you in that forum, wanted to share this with you all.Wonder if you would like to check it out sometime....if you do, do track the story from the first episode and fastforward initially if you you dont like certain flavours, the story twists and turns later...
Thanks for bearing with me , I HAD TO CONFESS THIS TO ALL OF YOU BECAUSE I WAS FEELING GUILTY to like Geet , which had started out to replace LNMDJ, tho it was the horror shows that actually did.
Tell me if any of you have checked out this show or by any chance will do so in future.
