yes...omkara I agree..it was award worthy but just for one film u can't have a "padmashree"...if we count his lifetym performances/ acting career...he is just a regular actor.....who very much in later av his career, groomed himself. wish I was just one person who was thinking something "hatke"....but no, I'm not the only one...

I dont agree that every artist can buy an award. It might be true in Saifs case, he has an influential background. And because of such few people the other artists who get an award due to their genuine talent donot get recognised or acknowledged much because people accuse them that the awards are biased & blah blah....

I agree on the bolded one. But some people may find Saif to be deserving. You believe that Saif can buy an award but all the others are deserving. Some other people may think otherwise. The point is how do you justify who deserves and who does not? and who bought the award and who did not?

Salman won the best 'Supporting actor for Kuch Kuch Hota hai"..Do you think he deserved it?

There was a time when Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik occupied all the 5 nomination on the 'Best Playback award" category?? Sadhna Sargam, Kavita K all had good songs in that era, did they not deserve a single nomination?

Aamir Khan himself (even if nominated) never attends filmfare awards coz he thinks they lack credibility.

Well..if Arjun Rampal can get supporting actor ....I won't be surprised if the mentioned names get awards too.....😉
