Shilpa Rao does a brilliant job in this one! Though such tracks are not my kind of music but as I hear it I find Shilpa's rendition close to flawless here...She inputs the right amount of attitude or 'ada' as I would like to call it in the song....Beautiful voice modulations and a confident expression....

She gets a 9 from me on this one!

Shilpa Rao can be amazing...this song just didn't do it for me and I agree with SAS...Shakarji totally eclipsed her in this song with his amazing singing abilities...Shilpa missed the mark and feel of this song...so a 6 for me and a 0.5 for attempting the harkats...6.5 (7)....

Solid job singing over here by Shilpa Rao.

She I think created a great feel for the song, she sang it the way it was supposed to be sung, and had quite a few good expressions. The added harkats were also nice. But really just great expressions, it's almost as if she was acting.

Nonetheless, I didn't think her voice quality was that good. Furthermore, I she struggled at the high-pitches. I don't think songs like this really suit her voice. Though she had all the correct expressions, her voice I think is more for softer songs like "Khuda Jaane".

Wonderful, energetic track!

The tone of Shilpa's voice is changed as compared to 'Khuda Jaane'. The voice seems to feel a bit low toned in comparison with the male singing. Somewhat mechanical in some parts and also, there is certain lack of breath I felt in the portion of singing 'bajay hai, bajay hai'. The higher notes are sung fairly well. She improves with the flow of the song.

Still not something that would motivate me to give a greater number than 7. So, I would like to give this performance a 7 out of 10.
