While you are right that those are the usual repercussions but let us just hope against hope that this will not happen here.

But honestly, I will not mind Abha putting effort this time round to win Karan back. 😃

Oh, no, Karan's been through enough.
We viewers have been through enough.

However, as mentioned in another response, I too would love to see Abha win back Karan, but I don't see that happening. He's always loved her more openly and honestly than she him.
