Round 1: Sunidhi Chauhan

This was indeed her debut song as far as I know. No further explanation needed here.

Perfect song for Sunidhi's voice quality. No wonder this song catapulted her to great success. I give her a 8 😳 I especially liked how she sang the lines "Ee ya e yee" whatever..

First of all my sincere respect to Sunidhi, all her fans, and all those that have trained her in the past and made her who she is today. I do not mean to offend anyone with my ratings. And honestly I am no one to rate her, yet since this is a fun game I will do so.


Gosh this girl was fabulous singing the song! So much energy and enthusiasm. She really brought the character in the movie alive with all her superb energy! There were some places where I felt she overdid it, but maybe that's just because the song required so much energy and enthusiasm that she def had.

So all in all I would give her a fair rating of 8! 👏

Yes I do. I don't know what went wrong with him. I had to listen to the song twice. I guess her voice was more lively compared to him. I love his songs, IDK what came into him. What are your views?

First of all, I hope everyone realizes Sunidhi Chauhan was just 15 or 16 when she sang this song! Wow.

I don't think I've ever heard a 15 year old sing this good. Sorry Anwesha Fans. 😆


So overall, she was terrific! I agree, she had a very lively voice. Which is what exactly was needed for this upbeat song. And especially for her age, she sang very maturely in this song.

I think she excelled most in the

Ee Ii Ee Aa Aa Aa Aa Hey Hey
Sequences.

Just great in those! And I think she was the weakest in the higher portions of the song, her voice kind of got more squeaky in those portions, and we were all reminded that she was still 15 years old.

But in MANY areas she displayed a lot of singing talent and ability, this goes throughout the whole song. You don't need to further than the main sequence to see evidence.



So overall, there were many things she did just great in, and then some others she could've worked on, which I think she did work on and become even better as she got older.

I really want to give this an 8, but I don't know, she was only 15 singing this song, sorry Sunidhi....

Hey that's still really good, for any 15 year old to get a 7 in a competition like this!

I completely agree with everything that ssk has said - great analysis!

All I'd like to add is that her variations, her little voice breaking effect and her throw were all difficult, technical embellishments and they deserve credit too. However, as ssk has pointed out, the high notes weren't too great.

So just like ssk, despite wanting to award her 8 marks, I have to score this a 7!

Wow interesting fact that I just learned. Didn't know she was that young while recording/singing for this song!!!
