- Dutta just keeps confirming my "theory" - he does credit Nakku with providing him "inner peace" and not Supriya. Yes, I understand that Nakku "showed him the light" so to speak - but come on! It is Supriya he is supposedly "marrying" and the girl who apparently loves him - shouldn't it be HER he's grateful too and not Nakku? And if pushing him in Supriya's direction earns someone brownie points, then Baji should be getting the most points because he even earned a slap as a return for his "push". That is why I refuse to believe it's just Dutta "appreciating" Nakku's truthfulness. There is DEFINITELY more at play here - in his mind, his marriage and consequent happiness is directly related to Nakku, not Supriya. Normally I'd find that odd - but with these two, WHY am I not surprised!? *sigh* Tasha NOT thinking about each other in EVERY situation - now THAT would surprise me. This, this is just routine. 😍
- Dutta is absolutely repulsed by the idea of being betrayed. He is so DEEPLY disgusted by it that he almost turns vicious as a result of his "betrayal" - any sign of someone betraying him and Dutta fights back in the most brutal and unsympathetic manner. It was totally indicative of a man scorned in love and BETRAYED by the one they trusted the most (in this case Seema). Every time he's betrayed, I can see him relive his betrayal from Seema's time. Even if it isn't as obvious or as conscious as it used to be in his earlier years, even now a betrayal tugs on some pretty deep scabs (so to speak) - scabs to wounds that haven't completely healed and maybe never will. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Dutta turns into a wounded and therefore viciously dangerous beast every time there's a hint of "betrayal" around him! In fact when Baji points out the inhumane nature of Dutta's punishment to him, his only response was "Kiyoun na ho?" i,e. WHY should it not be an unbearable punishment?! To him, betrayal is unbearably painful so it only makes sense for him to decide on a punishment that is (seemingly) cruel and inhumane.
- So, Baji comes running to tell Dutta about a certain someone encroaching on his land and then gets surprised when Dutta goes all sadistic on the guy? What else did Baji expect? I feel that Baji is so familiar with Dutta's "nice" and "generous" side that every time Dutta's "hurt" and "vicious" side makes an appearance it catches him by surprise. Just like it did that day in that "adda" place right after Dutta's first kill - Baji hadn't expected Dutta to go for a second one so soon, to turn so inhumane so quickly. At least that's what I think.
- Did anyone else feel that when Nakku was listening to Dutta lash out about being betrayed that she was thinking about whether she did the right thing by trusting Dutta - if he would prefer being told the truth about the betrayal or if he'd be okay with letting it stay hidden since it's now been "rectified" by Supriya (or so she thinks)? I really felt as though Nakku was finally realizing the gravity of the situation and how much this would upset Dutta - first she'd thought he'd just be heart broken. But now she knows he'd even be enraged and I felt that that's when she began to really question her decision and decide if it was a "smart" and a "right" decision under the circumstances.
- Nakku-Baabi relationship just makes my heart all "warm" on the inside. This is such a beautiful relationship with Nakku telling Baabi EVERYTHING without any prejudice. And what I love even more is how Baabi listens to everything her daughter has to say without any judgment or reprimand. She's just a mother who's also her daughter's best friend - someone always there for her. *sigh* I love it!
- You know, I think I've noticed something. I say "think" because I have not gone back to "recheck" it - it's too late and I need to get to bed. And "re-watching" an episode is like a pandora's box - if I start watching ONE scene again I'll watch ALL of them a second time and then notice more things and NEVER go to sleep! 😆 So anyways, moving on to what I noticed. Leela really despises Kaala - like she genuinely hates Kalavati's guts. Kaala's dismissal of her enrages Leela, so much that she then goes around PROBING Kalavati every chance she gets. It's like she's almost daring Kaala to "snap". To get just as "angry' as she is - but Kaala being the elegant, suave and charismatic antagonist that she is NEVER loses control. She is always ready with a witty yet calm remark - something to shut Leela up without ever raising her voice. EVER. *stares at Kaala with adoring eyes until she snaps herself out of it* And Kaala! She definitely does not need the two sisters - not at all! She just keeps them around as an audience - she wants someone to listen to her and someone to play off of. I feel that she likes the idea of belittling her sisters because she knows she's smarter than them - she does not miss ONE opportunity to rub their nose in that fact either! This really is a parasitic relationship - it has a life of it's own and I might be a total sadist here but I really enjoy watching the relationship dynamics between the three sisters. Kaala being the alpha dog in the pack (and she knows it too!), Leela being the underrated (and I feel, rightly so) sidekick who hates being under appreciated and then comes Roops who seems to be "smarter" than what she lets on. I feel Roops keeps testing the boundaries with her semi-smart comments. She starts of with the whole "let me tell you what Kaala is thinking" and then transitions into talking about sari colors like a child? I really feel she knows more than she lets on and every so often she likes to push the envelope just to see how far she can go without getting caught. In fact I loved how she showed a hint of smartness when she silently warned off Leela from interrupting Kaala as she was talking about Roops going to Supriya's room in the morning. This sisters' relationship has a life of it's own and I love watching them interact. And I totally realize that I could be alone here. 😆
- You know what else I love? Kaala-Kishore jodi! These two are a PERFECT fit and I mean that! Usually with a "smart" girl they pair a "stupid" guy or vice versa. But watching these two interact is like watching an equally-matched fight - each side is equipped and trained at what they do best. And both those actors match each other as far as expressions and dialogue delivery goes too! Kishore's expressions and witty remarks run parallel with Kaala's and I really, really enjoy these two! I loved how he reacted to her asking for "prasad" in the morning - he was 'fake surprised" and then brilliantly asks Kaala "Are you feeling okay?!". And if that wasn't great, Kaala doesn't even skip a beat as she answers that she's absolutely fine. It is so much fun watching a well-matched argument - I love this couple! I wish we get to see more of them in the future. 😃
- Last but not the least, the Douche-bag couple. Mavali sounded so ticked off at having to stay in the "kabad khana". 🤣 I fell off my chair laughing when he snapped at Supriya for not talking too loud and not coming to visit him in the "kabad khana" (hence forth referred to as kk). So much for love haan? And then Supriya fell right asleep in her cozy bed while her love was in a dangerous situation? I mean sure he was hiding in the kk but she didn't know if someone wouldn't go looking or something wouldn't happen?! Yet she just fell asleep? Lol! WOW! Made for each other hai ye couple! And the icing on the cake, she gets up and the first thing she says is how the mavali might have slept of something hard. LOL! Agar itni fikar thie toh tum bhi zameen pe soo jati! No one asked you to get comfortable in the bed. Also the mavali is so pissed at having to spend the night in the kk - I almost yelled "Who asked you to stay, idiot!?!" at the screen when he got all cranky. This couple is going to make me crazy - I am either laughing at their mediocre behavior or fuming at their ridiculous behavior. 😆
