I use a sulphur soap (from Sulphur of the volcano of my island) and a clay mineral mask --- And I still don't look like Aish ***sobbing sobbing*** I think without make up anyone looks white-fronted and ill --- I mean anyone looks a bit "sad" --- of course there are exceptions.
I use make up to give me "healthy colors" --- My make up is like Queen Cleopatra (kinda like Bipasha) ---...
And yes I look better when the hair is done and when I wear super clothes..so Beauty is like a package with the personality also...
Basic make up and basic cosmetic products enhance initial beauty....but I don't think it make people "fake" but using aesthetic/cosmetic techniques like peeling, polishing, lifting, anti wrinkle laser, special creams (anti wrinkle, whitening creams, tanning creams, to harmonize the complexion, anti dark circles...)
Agree with Shadowkisses --- common soap is to avoid to clean the face...A special face soap is needed.....
Some BW celebs look more fake than others - I say "look more" not are more ---- I think Bip looks really fake, along with Preity -- there's something really special about their looks -- Rakhi also but at least she tells so...I mean she says that she goe sto the doctor to become more "beautiful".

To me she is not a very beautiful girl or a stunner. But she has what we call Indian beauty. Which I guess makes men go ga ga over her. My husband does.
But Over years with ehr grace and attitude and the way she carried herself I found that more than beauty it is her substance that make her Gorgeous.
I find her very nice without make up....she looks gorgeous when she is not making faces or giggling unnecessary.
I love her more not for her beauty but how after her marriage she is handling her career, her husband adn her in-laws as well as her own family,
She is a complete beauty....

@bolded That's perhaps you didn't like her 😆😆😆😆
I don't like when she giggles tooo much or making constant surprised faces, because it's like if she tries too hard to seduce. But I like when she's calm - she appears like a reigning queen or something 😊

Actually I liked Ms Universe better...always....but then it faded....
I avoid soaps for my face...I use home made - Besan+ yougurt. ANd I never ever had any problem with my skin. Recently I have started using Aloevera gel with sugar as scrub. It works wonders. My skin iglows with out any make up. Shoudl try it. Very nice...Here in USA we get Aloevera gel at GNC

@lovanika Sure for your hubby you're Miss Planet earth --- you're his own universe **blushing**
I eat yoghurt and tomatoes - I guess they affect positively my skin texture...
We have aloe vera juice here ah ah ah That's good - Agree aloe vera for skin and hair is the best along with olive products...*
I wonder which brands I mean cosmetic brands Aish use...
Any fan of her who knows some of her beauty secret?

I might be generalizing a bit here, but Ash being a Mangalorean might have something to do with her irradiant looks!
People from Mangalore (especially women) are reputedly amongst the best looking in the Indian race! They are blessed with a beautiful, healthy complexion and almost perfect features!
Shilpa Shetty, The Reddy Sisters, Genelia D'Souza, Frieda Pinto, Amrita Rao, Deepika Padukone and ofcourse, Ash are some of the examples!
But ofcourse, Ash is exceptionally gorgeous and she is probably one of the very few women in India and argubaly in the world, who's claim for being extremely beautiful is undisputed! You might call her plastic, or tupperware (a certain Mr. Oberio's tag😆) or anything, but the woman is undoubtedly a timeless beauty! 😊
PS: If a woman has to be compared on account of her physical appearance, then its only fair that she is compared to women in her own age group! A woman in her late twenties and one in her mid-thirties cannot possibly compete...a woman might be uncomparably beautiful, but she still cannot beat age!
Ash has looked stunning without make-up many times...anyone who has seen Chokor Bali would certify this! Even in her debut Tamil film, there were scenes where she was without any make-up and she looked just as ethereal! Same for Taal, where she was without make-up in many scenes during the first half of the film!
In anycase, make-up is not plastic surgery that it can make anyone looks breathtakingly beautiful...it can only enhance an already good-looking person or at the best, make an average person look nicer than he or she usually is! When people call Aishwarya as one of the most beautiful women in the world, they mean it in every sense.

Why did Vivek call her "Tupperware"? When he was "having fun" with her - I guess she was "natural"....**sarcastic**

Classic case of the Grapes being sour, I guess! 😆😆😆
I highly doubt, anyone takes Mr. Oberoi seriously! One would, if he would just stop talking about his ex-girlfriend and do something concrete in the direction of his career!
