Even though Aishwarya has often been termed as 'plastic' by some, there is no iota of doubt that Aishwarya's beauty is all natural and god-gifted.

It has often been claimed that Aishwarya is probably the only actress who has got best features and that too, perfect.

She has often been termed as the most beautiful woman of the world. Fellow actress Priyanka Chopra once commented that.

She thinks god was on a vacation when he made Aishwarya, whereas we, the mortals, were made in a day.

This complement itself speaks volumes about the beauty of this gorgeous lady who is now married to actor Abhishek Bacchan.

In fact, her hubby, in an interview claimed that she looks as much perfect when she gets up in the morning after the night's sleep, as when she is making people drooling by appearing in front of the camera.

She did a non glamorous role in a Bengali film called"Chokher Bali "where she was draped in a white sari for most of the time. Even though she was not allowed to wear make-up, the beautiful lady looked absolute fresh and radiant in the movie.

She earned much critical acclaim and praise for her role as a widow in the movie. The ravishing beauty was ready to go without make-up once again in the film'Provoked'and received rave reviews for her role of a battered housewife.

Bollywood today has very strict notions of what is beautiful and what is not. Actresses today don't think twice to get under the knife to get that very perfect look. Even though the results have been disastrous in case of some actresses, the popularity of cosmetic surgery has not diminished even a bit.

Aishwarya, on the other hand, can be an example of how a natural beauty can be so stunning. She is 36 today, but does not look like. She has maintained herself well and her still gives off the same radiance and warmth even after so many years. No matter she has been called plastic by some, this elegant woman gets our vote for being a natural beauty.

I'd say she's beautiful but she maintains her beauty with other means like most of actresses. So she is as "fake" as others and as "natural" as others.
LOL at Abhi's sentence : of course he wouldn't say his wife looks bad when she wakes up...
LOL at Piggy's sentence : yeah Aish is a Goddess..why do they have to put God in the center of all their compliments?

i find her naturally beautiful too Lily. And by that i mean she looks gorgeous without makeup as well. Iv met her twice , once without makeup when she was backstage getting ready for some Nakshatra event and i found her prettier than what she looks on screen. She looks much younger. Very few actresses look beautiful without makeup Ash and Bebo are two of them.

I agree Aishwarya natural beautiful. She looks the best with no make up. Her face is too perfect, especially her eyes, she is really lucky.

Just my opinion. No need to literally hound on me.

It's not that I don't think much of her as a beauty icon...it's just that there is something about her expressionless glance(s) and wooden features that leaves me cold. It's as though she is a statue, that there is no life inside her. Possibly it's the way her face is structured, which isn't her fault exactly, but I guess her abrasive personality kinda make her look even more artificial. Coming to features - I don't know if I will say she has got 'perfect' features. Her eyes are mesmerizing, no doubt there, but as I said, there is just no expression or depth in them. Other parts are pretty ordinary, or in some cases, below ordinary, like her lips. Moreover, I don't like her smile - which is another turn off, since a good and heart-warming smile makes people look better. She does manage to look decent in photos, though. I think, as long as she can resist herself from giggling hysterically in interviews, she looks pretty well.

Edit: I feel the same way about Salman Khan, whom I liked initially, but now it seems as though he is another one of those...

Agree with you Ashi, Bebo looks the best with minimal make up.
I find Aish really beautiful also. But I don't think that's ALL natural.

ah ah ah ah @Phoenix lol
Actually i watched Devdas (AGAIN) on TV and I have to say - she was perfect - her make up & hair were absolutely gorgeous! I think she can act pretty good..or perhaps I'm blinded by her beauty..But I think her acting is decent - there are other people in BW who are REALLY bad when it comes to acting ...
I wouldn't say she's expressionless at all..but there again it's my point of view, you have yours and I respect that.
I like her smile when it looks genuine and not when it's about to charm systematically the interviewer...or a certain abroad audience.

I guess the definition of 'natural' differs from people to people. Going through cosmetic surgeries a hundred and one time(s) does not stop people from being natural, in my book. For me, Kajol, Rani, Konkona, Vidya, Tabu etc are what I'd call 'natural', whereas Ash, Kareena, Preity, Katrina, Deepika, etc are what I'd call 'plastic'. That's not mean to say that people with plastic looks aren't good looking, or that people with a natural appeal are always good looking. It depends from person to person.

^^^ That's perfectly fine. People have different opinions, and honestly, if everyone thought the same, the world would have become very, very boring.
