The trappings of fame can often involve the unwanted attention of overzealous fans, and when you're a member of JLS, it's an almost daily occurance.

Band member Orits Williams was left reeling when an excited fan approached his chauffeur driven car for an autograph and ended up shoving her pen into his face.

The 21-year-old wound down his window for the female fan, who had rushed up to the vehicle as it exited the HMV Apollo in Hammersmith, west London.

But no sooner had he allowed the young lady - who wore a red hoodie with Sarah Loves Orits emblazoned on the back - to approach than she'd pushed her pen into his face, narrowly missing his eye.

He hurriedly wound the window back up as the girl was pulled away by security.

The band, which also includes Jonathan 'JB' Gill, Aston Merrygold and Marvin Humes, performed at the venue over the weekend and were watched by thousands of young girls and celebrities.
