Hmm... How difficult is this song, really? A song that has few 'impressive' vocal techniques relies largely on feel and expression to sound appealing.
Again, will not dare to comment of RFAK's sur or his high pitches. His range is awesome - no doubt about it.
But, to be completely honest, the song failed to touch me... At times the singing seemed too quiet and at other times, it seemed too shouty. Again, I am nobody to say RFAK sang badly. But let's just say I prefer the heir of one of Pakistan's greatest Qawwal families to stick to qawwalis. He's amazing in filmi songs, but my response to him is better in qawwalis - he has an 'x factor' in his singing in the latter genre, but that same 'x factor' seemed a little missing in the former style. I don't want to generalise all his filmi songs, because he moved me a lot in 'Naina Thag Lenge' and 'Bol Na Halke Halke'....
Anyway, I'll be as objective as possible in my scoring, which will be revealed soon...

From Uditji's side, I shall play the shimerring duet 'Taal Se Taal Mila' from Taal. Music by A R Rahman, lyrics by the great Anand Bakshi. Even the song is predominantly sung (brilliantly!) by Alkaji, I think Uditji's portions were praiseworthy too!
