Mahi Ve
She was a sweet girl belived in simplicity , always helped others no matter she knew the person or not
Today she was so much happy. Because finally, her brother was going to marry today. She will get a sweet and nice sister-in-law such as Nupur. Nupur was also Mahi's friend though she was elder than her.And then, Mayank and Nupur fell in love during their MBA. Mahi's happiness was beyond limit because she knew Nupur was the best girl for her brother
On the day of their marriage
Mayank was ready he was waiting for her sister
M: Mahi, Jaldi aao, Hame ab jana he.
Mh: Ha, bhaiya, bas 2 minute.
Mahi came down she was wearing a sky blue colour suit she was looking very beautiful with her hair open very little makeup & some gloss...
As she met all others in the hall...
Diya: Babes, Tum ne make-up nahi kiya?
Mh: Nahi, Diya, maine light make-up kiya he, vo thik he.
RV: But, Mahi... Aaj to Mayank ki shadi he, aur tum...
M: Nahi, Ranvijay, Mahi aaj best dikhni chahiye, aur vo ese hi itni beautiful lag rahi he, So me nahi chahta ki meri behan make-up kar ke jo uski natural beauty he use chhipa de.
Even Mahi belived in internal beauty she hated external show-off........
M-Ab chalo.
D: Owww... To Mayank ko bahot jaldi ho rahi he, Nupur se milne ki.
And everyone except Mahi starts teasing Mayank.
Mh: Ab chalo, bahiya thik keh rahe he, fir muhurt nikal jayega, maa.
Mom: Ha, ha, chalo.
Everyone goes out and the baraat leaves towards Nupur's house.
The wedding took place all the rituals were completed Nupur was brought to Mayank's house......
Mahi and Diya were sitting with Nupur in Mayank's room. Nupur was slightly nervous, and Diya kept teasing her. Mahi sent Diya to call Mayank ............
Mh: Gabhrao mat, Nupur. Kya bat he?
N: Mahi, muje darr lag raha he.
Mh: Par kyu? Dekho Nupur... Tum aur Bhaiya, ajnabee thode na ho?
Then Mahi talked with her for some time to make her feel comfortable & when Mayank came she left from there.
Mayank came inside he colsed the door behind him ..........
He knew though they were in love Nupur would be feeling nervous.......he went & sat on the bed beside her he took her hand in his & lifted her face .....Nupur's heart started beating faster .....
M-tumhe pata hai Nupur shaadi ka aakhri phera kis liye hota hai
N-kis liye ......
M-Its a promise that we would be there for each other & will be loyal ......& most of all we'll remain best friends for lifetime ......
Nupur just kept staring into his eyes as he spoke .....
M-you are my best friend & always be ....he kissed her hand ........
I think tum bohot thak gayi hogi....yeh shaadi mein bhi kitne rasme hoti hai baaki sab enjoy karte aur dulha dulhan thak jaate hai ....Nupur hugged him at first Mayank was taken aback by her sudden hug
but then he hugged her back
M-kya hua Nupur
N-Thanks Mayank you're so understanding .....tears of happiness glistered her eyes she was so lucky for having such an understanding husband
Days passed Mahi Nupur Mayank were having great time together
Nupur & Mayank also began to feel comfortable with each other
After a few days Mahi left for USA for further studies . Nupur was really feeling sad after she left.After her marriage they became like tree musketeers they used spend so much time together often pulling each others leg ,teasing each other etc ........she missed her so much.One day Nupur was standing in the balcony of their room thinking about Mahi Mayank came in the room & saw that she was so quite he understood the reason. Even he was missing his sweet sister, who was always his best friend too. She always helped him.
Mayank thought that he should lighten Nupur's mood he went to the balcony & hugged her from behind.
M: Madam, Aap ne to saat janmo ka sath nibhane ka vachan liya tha, magar aap tou humein thode din mai hi hume bhool gayi..........a little smile spread across her face.
N: Nahi, Mayank... Mai Mahi ko miss kar rahi hu.
M: Mai bhi. (He breaks the hug and stands beside her with his hands in his pocket.)
N: Ab tou wo 2 years baad ayegi wo holidays me kyu nahi aa sakti Mayank?
M: Nupur, tum to schedules or rules thik se janti ho na, tum kyu sentimental ban rahi ho? Dekhna, 2 years to yu hi nikal jayege. (He snapped his fingers)
N: Sach?
M: Ha, ab chalo... Hum dono ki kal meeting he dealers ke sath. Ab ye business ham dono ko badhana he, right?
N: Right......

Mayank was right. Two years passed within no time. It seemed like, yesterday was the day when Mahi left for US and today she was returning back. But only the family-members knew what happened in these two years. Situation was not at all like before the two years. Everything was so similar yet so different.

Mayank & Nupur were no longer together ...........yes they were married but they lived separately Mayank in his house & Nupur in her mothers house due to some business problems there were some cold vibes between the two families Bhushan's & Sharma's & their business split Mayank & Nupur started hating each other both the families were going through a tough time Bhushan's thougt Sharma's were the reason & viceversa Nupur supported her family & Mayank supported his ..... though they showed hatred in front .......but somewhere in their heart they really loved each other............
Mahi still talked to both Mayank and Nupur, but she was unaware of what had happened. Whenever Mahi asked Mayank about Nupur, he made up some excuse and told her to contact on her cell only. Same was the case with Nupur. Mahi always asked them whether they were happy in their married life, and they always assured her that they were really happy, so she should not worry for them.
But today, the truth will definitely come in Mahi's eyes she was returning to India forever. Then she will help Mayank and Nupur in business. Well, That's what Mahi thought. But she will only help Mayank, you know the reason why.
Finally, the time passed like anything and Mahi was in India. Mayank had gone to receive her to the air-port.
Mh: Hey, bahiya.
Mayank looked at his sister affectionately. She was not changed at all. Just like she had left. Same face, same dressing style. Same hair-style. But here, so much is changed.
Mh: Bhaiya, kese ho aap? Aur Nupur kyu muje receive karne nahi ayi?
M: Vo... Actually, Mahi...
Mh: Hmm.. Lagta he office me kuchh kam hoga. Koi baat nahi. Chalo.
She asked about everyone's health in the car. Mayank replied to her questions hoping that she would not ask anything about Nupur.
Mahi and Mayank enters the home.
She meets everyone and then tells Mayank that she wants to meet Nupur now.
Mh: Either call her from office or take me to the office.
M: Mahi, tum travelling me thak gayi hogi. Aram karo. Use baad me mil lena.
Everyone insisted that she should take some rest. So she went upstaitrs. She wanted to take a shower as it was hot. She went in her bathroom and saw that shampoo was not there. She thinks she will use Nupur's shampoo. Nupur never minds sharing anything with Mahi. So Mahi goes to Mayank-Nupur's room. As she enters the room, she was surprised, there was no sign that a caring girl like Nupur lived in this room. Even the photograph of Mayank and Nupur that was hanging on their wall after their engagement was also missing. Mahi knew that it was bad manners to open someone's cupboard, but to make her doubts clear, she slowly opened the wardrobe. She was horrified as she saw the wardrobe. Only Mayank's clothes and belongings were there. No sign of Nupur in any corner of the room.
She went to the drawing room to ask someone. As she was on the stairs, she listened her Mom's voice.
Mom: But hum log Mahi se kab tak kuchh nahi kahege? Ab to vo is ghar me he. Hum kab tak ye sab chhupayege us se ki Nupur ne kya kiya he hamare parivar ke sath?
Mahi listened carefully, "what's going on in her house and how long it has been that Nupur is not here. And what Nupur has done? Nupur was a very understanding and loving girl. Intelligent, and believed in family values. What can she do? Something is wrong."
M: Mom, me bas itna janta hu ki meri behen ye shock seh nahi payegi. Use thode dino ke liye in sab chizo ke bare me kuchh bhi pata nahi lagna chahiye.
RV: But Mayank... Use ye pata chalna chahiye, ki Nupur ne pura business uske hatho me karne ki koshish ki thi. Aur vo hum sab ko hi barbad karna chahti thi.
Mahi could not believe these words at all. "Nupur can't do this at any cost." From where Mahi was standing she could see RV, and as everyone else left, she could see an evil smile on RV's face. RV then took his cell and dialled a number.
RV: "Hey, babes... Yaha par to me mamla samhal raha hu, par agar meri cousin Nupur se milne aye to tumhe dhyan rakhna hoga. Ok?
RV: Bye, sweet heart, Me phone rakhta hu.
Mahi understood everything now. RV did all these to take business in his own hands. But why didn't Nupur oppose this and why did she leave the house? She should have tried to prove herself innocent at least. She quietly slipped out of the house and went to Nupur's place. There she saw another girl, with Nupur in the hall and stopped behind the door. That girl was there in Mayank-Nupur's marriage. How can she forget her? She was Ranvijay's best friend. Sheena. She tried to listen to their conversation.
Sh: Hey, Nupur... Is deal ke bare me soch rahi thi ki ham log, tenders ki price ke bare me kuchh pata kare.
N: No ways, Sheena, ye cheating he. Business should be pure. Tum to muje janti hi ho na?
Sh: Ha, ha har koi tumhe janta he, isi liye to tumhare in-laws ne tumhari isi baat ka fayda uthaya.
N: Esa kuchh nahi he. Unhone esa kuchh nahi kiya, Vo log bahot hi achhe he.
Mahi was on the verge of crying. "Itna sab ho jane ke baad bhi Nupur...ghar me kisi ko blame nahi karti he."
Sh: Of ho, Nupur... Please, I mean, unhone tumhe andhere me rakh ke tumhare sare shares kisi aur ke nam kar diye. Aur vo bhi Ranvijay ke naam. Pata he RV kitna upset he iski vajah se. Vo sab se naraj he jab se ye sab hua he. Vo kitna kehta he sab se ki vo log tumhe accept kar le, but phir bhi Mayank koi baat sunne ko taiyar hi nahi he.
Now, Nupur could not hear anymore. Her Mayank, whom she had loved sooo much, How could he do this to her? May be she had made the biggest ever mistake in her life that she loved him.
Nupur ran to her bedroom and fell on the bed. She was crying badly.
Here, Sheena called RV.
Sh: Hey, RV, kaam ho chuka he. Ab Nupur kabhi Mayank pe trust nahi karegi. Ok. Bye.
Mahi couldn't stand any more. She went home back and went in her room directly. She kept crying for an hour. Then she thought that now everything was in her hand. She thought a plan and next day, she went to the office.
As it was official holiday, no one else had come to the office. She got all the old records of transaction form the old files. And soon she had the documents she needed.
She got all the documents which were made by RV and were also signed by RV.
Mh (Murmurs): Crime always leaves footsteps. A criminal can never stay unnoticed.
Mahi then tried to call RV, and said changing voice.
Mh: Mr. Ranvijay, Agar aap ko apne khilaf ke sare saboot chahiye, to meet me.
RV: Kaun ho aap?
Mh: None of your business. 6:00 PM Sahara garden. Front gate.
RV: But aap...
Mahi had already disconnected the phone.
RV: Kaun ho sakta he ye? Pata nahi ja ke dekhuga.
Mahi called Sheena.
Mh: Miss Sheena, RV ki girlfriend, agar aapne jo bhi problems Bhushan industries me ki he, uske khilaf ke proofs chahiye to met me today.
Sh: But kaun he aap? Aur mene kuchh galat nahi kiya. Who are you?
Mh: You can see who I am in the evening. 6:00 PM, Sahara Garden, Front Gate.
Now was the most difficult work for Mahi. She had to call Mayank and Nupur. They can recognise her voice instantly, no matter how hard she would try.
She called Nupur:
Mh: Hey, Nupur...
N: Hi, Mahi... Kesi ho tum?
Mh: Bas, me thik hu. Me aaj hi India ayi. I want to surprise everyone at home. So do one thing Make any excuse and meet me at 5:30 PM. Sahara Garden, front gate. Ok?
N: Ok. (She thought, Mahi se mil lugi, aur use bol dungi ki Mayank ke sath kya problems hui he.)
Mahi disconnected the phone. "Fine, now one more to go."
She called Mayank.
Mh: Hello bahiya...
M: Ha, Mahi... Kya hua?
Mh: Bhai, muje sham ko shopping ke liye jana he, to please aap ayiega na.
M: Mahi... Sab kuchh thik to he?
Mh: Ha, kyu?
M: Nahi, tum shopping ke liye puchh rahi ho isi liye.
Mh: Are bhai, USA me reh kar shopping karne ki adat ho gayi he. Now listen, We will meet at Sahara Garden, Front gate, 5:30 PM ok?
M: Ok. As my sister wish.
Mahi disconnects the phone. "God, Forgive me, Aaj me jitna juth boli hu, meri puri life me nahi boli. Magar kisi ki help karne ke liye bola gaya juth to maaf hota he na."
Finally 5:30 in the evening.
Mayank comes at the place and finds Nupur standing there. She was lost in her thoughts. Mayank kept staring at her as he was looking her after months.
Suddenly Nupur realized someone's constant gaze on her, and as she looked around her, she noticed Mayank. She also stared at him. They just kept staring at each other for few momnts. Then finally, Mahi was there.
Actually, she was just hiding behind the gate, but now it was about 6:00. So she came there and coughed.
Mayank and Nupur broke their eyelock session.
N: Mahi, tumne muj se jooth bola?
M: Mahi, tum ne muj se bhi jooth bola?
Mh: Of ho, pehle yaha andar gate me aa jao.
Mahi pulled both of them with her behind the gate at the right time. Just then RV came. After 5 minutes, Sheena came. Mahi signed to keep quiet. So Mayank and Nupur didn't say anything.
Then RV and Sheena told each other about an unnamed call and then they blurred out their deeds by their own mouths. Mayank was getting angry as RV and Sheena confessed all the things they did to take Sharma and Bhushan industries in their hands.
After 5 minutes, Mayank caught RV and Nupur caught Sheena red-handed. Then they were fired. And then, thanks to Mahi, Mayank and Nupur were together again.
Nupur returned home that day Mayank & Nupur were thankful to Mahi for bringing them back together once again
At night in MAyur's bedroom
Nupur was standing near the window gazing into the dark sky Mayank came from behind it was 2 years since he talked to her ...he kept his hand on her shoulder & turned her around tears were flowing down her cheeks .......
N-I'm sorry Mayank maine tumhe galat samjha....she said between sobs
M-nai Nupur galti meri hai ....jo maine tum par bharosa nai kiya ...mujhe maaf kardo .. even his eyes were filled with tears ...he hugged her & Nupur broke down in his arms
N-Mayank tumhe pata hai yeh do saal maine kaise bitaaye har pal mujhe chubta tha.... ek din aisa nai tha jab tumhari yaad nai aayi
M-bas Nupur jo ho gaya hum usse badal nai sakte par aage ki zindagi mein har pal ek doosre ke saath rahenge.........he kissed her forehead.... sukh aur dukh mein ........
Next day was 2nd March in the evening
Nupur was arranging something in the hall when Mayank came from behind & hugged her ..he whispered in her ears ...I love you Nupur......
N-I love you too......she said looking into his eyes ...both were lost in a beautiful eye-lock
Mahi was passing through the hall when she spotted them ...she turned red seeing them ......
she didnt want to disturb their moment ...& was about to go when she bumped to a table & the vase fell which brought Mayank & Nupur back to sense.....they saw Mahi standing & smiling at them
she made a puppy face & said Sorry mai aap dono ko disturb nai karna chahti thi
Nupur tuurned red Mayank also looked here & there
M-nai Mahi aisi koi baat nai hai.......
N-Thanks Mahi tumhari waja se aaj hum ek saat hai
Ma-Aaj mai aap dono ko ek saat dekh kar bohot khush hu .....aur kal meri zindagi ka special din aur bhi special hoga
N-kal ..???kyu kal kya hai..???
Ma-kal ..wo...
M-haan Mahi kal aisa kya special hai ?? Mayank asked her
Ma-nai kuch nai mai tou aise hi keh rahi thi .......she said with a sad voice ....
M-theek hai bohot late ho gayi ab tum so jao

In Mahi's room
Mahi was thinking did her best friend & brother forget her birthday .....she was a little sad about it but then she thought they both hav faced so much in the previous days & might be they were stressed so they didnt remember her birthday ....as we all know Mahi is very understanding.......she really didnt care so much about her birthday but people around her always tried to make it special for her ...
It was 11-00 she didnt feel like sleeping.......she took her diary & sat writing
She always found peace in writing it always lightened her heart.......pouring out her thoughts & emotions on paper made her feel better......she was best at it........
Nupur & Mayank had planned a surprise for Mahak both went into the kitchen Nupur made the batter for the cake & kept it in the oven to bake......she prepared a chocolate liquid for decoration ...chocolate cake was Mahi's favourite.....
Nupur tasted the chocolate ....
N-Mayank please taste kar ke batao na sab barabar hai kya
Mayank moved closer to Nupur ......he was looking into her eyes
N-Mayank maine kaha yeh chocolate taste karo .....she said bringing the bowl to him
Mayank pushed the bowl aside & moved closer to Nupur
N-mayank wo choclate ......she lowered her eyes ......
M-wohi tou tou kar raha hu .......he moved more closer reducing the distance between them .....her heart started beating madly as she felt his warm breath on her face...Mayank slowly licked the chocolate from the corner of Nupur's lips....
M-hmmm.....acha hai par chocolate se zyadaa.......he advanced towards her lips & she closed her eyes .........he met his lips with hers & they kissed passionately till the oven timer brought them back to sense.....both broke out breathing heavily........Mayank's hands were around her waist....
N-Mayank chodo na.....
M-nai......
N-Mayank chodo cake jal jaayega.......
M-ohh....he quickly let her go.....
Nupur removed the cake & decorated it with chocolate
It was 11-55 Mayank & Nupur had decorated the hall & set up everything ........
But how to bring Mahi out of her room
M-ab Mahi ko kamre se bahar kaise laaaye
N-zaroor wo likh rahi hogi........
M-socho kya karein....
N-ek idea hai......Nupur brought a small firecracker.......dekho hum isse uss ke kamre ke bahar lagayenge woh iss ki awaz sun kar bahar aayegi fir
M-wah mere saat rehte rehte kaafi samjhdar ho gayi ho tum
N-apne muh miya mithu banna tou koi tum se seekhe....By God
M-(smiling at her )tum jaa kar baaki sab ko bula lao

Mahi was busy engrossed in writing lost in thoughts when there was a loud voice outside the door she jerked out of her thoughts & ran towards the door thinking wat was that noise

As I opened the door I was shocked to see the view .....the hall was beautifully decorated & all my family members were present there .......

next second I was pulled into a hug by my bhai & bhabi
M&N-Happy Birthday Mahi ...they said together
Mh-aap ko yaad tha mujhe laga sab bhool gaye ...
M-hum hamari angel ki birthday kaise bhool sakte hai.......
N-haan ab yeh lo ......she said giving her a packet ......aur jaldi se taiyar ho jao phir cake bhi cut karna hai..
Mh-yeh kya hai.....

Mahi opened the packet there was a beatutiful baby pink colour anarkali & a diamond bracelate

Mahi got ready & came out she was looking extremely beautiful pink was her favourite colour she looked like an angel .....
M-someone's looking very beautiful today.......

Mh-(blushing ) Thankyou.....
M-chalo ab jaldi se cake kato
She cut the cake as everyone sang happybirthday for her ....she fed the first piece to her Mom & Dad & then her brother & her best friend Nupur........
M-chalo Mahi aaj ek song ho jaaye
Mh-nai bhaiya please....
N-common Mahi you have to sing ....for us ....please
Ma-theek hai.....
She sang Aaa bhi jaa .......she had the sweetest voice
All of them enjoyed then Mahi got busy attending phone calls ....she had so many friends who loved her so much everyone called to wish her on her birthday.......
It was almost 2-00am when she went to bed ..she thanked God for whatever he had given her such a lovely family who cared about her so much ........& so many people who loved her .......
This was my best birthday ever.........thinking she went to sleep
