There are some points that didn't sit too well with me in the 29th Jan, 2010 episode:
- When Bindiya is about to enter the room while Vinay is holding the ring, she just stands there as if she froze over in her tracks. All throughout, she does not even attempt to get into the room. It was obviously scripted this way but I thought it would have had a greater impact had she simply entered the room. She could have been shown lost in her thoughts or something. She just witnessed her sister getting upset over the kundali thing and then she witnessed a heart-warming moment of Bimlesh consoling Poonam there in his arms, something that she's been deprived all along. Forget comforting, she's not even liked by her hubby. So they could have explored this angle more in the sense that Bindiya is also human and she misses the support and love of her hubby like any other girl. So she could have entered her room with a heavy heart & lost in these thoughts and could have seen Vinay wearing the ring and then have expressed her utter shock there. I expected a little more out of that scene.
- Then, in the scene where Vinay gets a new bed for her.. I wanted Bindiya to keep looking the other way when Bhola Bhaya was getting the bedding. Vinay could have come up then and caught her off guard or something. But she did turn around before time and saw him approach her. Anyhow, Richa's expressions were good there. But I think the scene would have been more effective had they shown her taking her mat and putting it on floor and making her bed for the night while Vinay made an entry with the bed. The scene opens and we see Bindiya standing tall in the room and watching Vinay bring the bed. So it felt a bit odd there. But had she been busy making her bed and the scene had commenced from there, I think it would have looked more natural.
- Then, Bindiya sitting on the bed before the theme music hits.. That was so awkward. I mean, c'mon now. Looked so weird to have them both sit like this and stare at one another out of no reason at all. They could have shown them making the bed or something or busy doing something and then looking at one another. Moreover, Vinay's smile was so out of place. It didn't fit the scene for some reason. Why on earth would he be passing such smiles to her? But Bindiya acted aptly by showing the startled expressions. Script needs to be tightened up at such points since this is quite a crucial time for the show.
For Monday: I really hope that Bindiya is shown as being uncomfortable with all the wedding anniversary festivities and I hope Vinay is not passing smiles either. I hope he gets reminded of whatever transpired and something BIG happens that makes him leave his resentful memories behind and make him see Bindiya as a wife for the first time. Can't wait for that 😳~ On that note.. leaving u all with this that emphasizes the show being about 3 couples and not just one even though the premise revolves around Vindiya as the lead 😃 ~
- Liked the BVD Theme music though.. Let's see what comes next.. 😳

Mustard coloured jacket? Oh dear... didn't see that one! Who is in charge of fashion in BVD? Why is Vinay being dressed this way? 😡

God! When will Vinay get rid of those jackets? He spends too much on his clothes, bit rich when he doesn't work huh?!HE will get rid of'em in 65873920855634 years approximately🤡 well offcourse...his brothers are supporting him..wish they dont😆
Okay someone kindly tell me, does Vinay have ANY aim in his life AT ALL? What are his likes and dislikes excluding kheer, roaming with his friends, being bipolar in his behavior towards Bindiya and reading tacky magazines/books? Like say, his taste in movies- does he like Hollywood movies or bollywood ones ? And where does his passion lie ? I think every human being has a passion in life - some love reading, some love writing, some like making music, some sing, some paint, some dance, some cook, some love sports, some love solving puzzles etc etc., similarly I would like to see what Vinay is passionate about. Can someone tell me what exactly is "maila aanchal"? Is it like the local bihari version of Femina or Filmfare? 🤔 If "maila aanchal" is not a tacky magazine or book like I think it is and is something like a fable/short story collection, then perhaps Vinay likes to pen short stories or stories for children?AIM..it means..All Is Mast in Vinay's language😆 he is not bothered about anyone he doesnt have spare time...apart from smiling and roaming in and around house you see..as far as maila aanchal is concerned its a novel, historical novel...based on western Bihar and their freedom strugggle pri independence..so creatives are trying their best to show him as well aware and studious guy..which he doesnt look like at all...i know its too judemental but when you shoot scene where guy is reading something with his boots on..thats enough evidence for audience to guee that he hates reading even on screen leave alone off screen! What are Vinay's plans for his future? Does he want to do an MBA and become a business tycoon, take over his family business and improve the business practices by employing innovative & upgraded methods and maximize the profits? Or start a company on his own? Or become an accountant in his own company? Take Vimlesh for example, he is passionate about journalism which is awesome or even Akhilesh, he may not be passionate about his work but he DOES help his Dad in their business , at least he is occupied with SOMETHING WORTHWHILE. Is Vinay's mental capacity wrt career and future also stunted because of his forced marriage?Well MBA gosh thats tough i tell you..ask me😆...hmm..i guess they might concentrate on these after they'll sort out their marriage problem and honestly we raised soo many questions already regarding this..i bet..they will look into it! Btw Vishal is a trained pilot in real life😊 so...he can use that profession here..we wil see him in better clothes..with 😎 😆I have the exact same questions wrt Bindiya as well - first and foremost why the hell isn't she asked to finish her education by Vimlesh or Poonam or TB or her father or brother? Does she even wish to study further? If yes, why isn't she shown expressing such an interest to her sister or someone? Call me technical and blame me for having expectations but it doesn't hurt if such practical aspects to the characters are also covered , why narrow down the scope of projection of the characters just because they are from a small town? Why always show the character traits from the kidnapped and forced marriage frame of reference only? People MOVE ON in their lives after going through a bad phase, everyone has a coping mechanism.yeah people do move on..but her life hasn't chnaged much...she is still there where she was a year ago...so i think once their marriage problem will get resolved they will concentrate on their respectives goals and aims..they should! nd Let me tell you...there is hardly any difference left between big and small town..because of the technology like internet and television...everyone is watching the same thing and how much you grasp is totally personal and has nothign to do with big or small city! its creatives misconception that being from small town you supposed to behave differently which isnt the case at all!
Whew, that was some rant huh! Well, forgive me that I belong to this generation and think like the new age smart , intelligent girl wrt certain things and blame my parents who taught me the importance of education and career & stressed on the need to be independent in my thinking.
Today, people from small towns are also well informed, educated, independent, self sufficient and have a mind of their own - why project them as timid, spineless or aimless people in the name of "tradition" and "small town mentality"? Break the stereotype already!yeah...getup as simple as that! on the other hand..both vishal and richa nd mostly all the technicians are from small city in most of the shows..so i totally agree with you there👏yes same here...😃
P.S: Nish, I like Rishta.com too, Kavi plays Rohan so effortlessly, love him in the show as Rohan. Currently Mahi way and Rishta.com are my favorite shows on Telly! BTW, I think it is actually Kavi Shastri who looks QUITE a LOT like Aditya Redij (of Laado fame) except for the height difference.Oh honestly I LOVE BOTH THE SHOWS..lovely..something worthwhile i tell you 👏👏 nd KAvi Shastri..gosh he is a DAMN GOOD Actor⭐️⭐️...so as the girl who plays Mahi👏👏 this is called acting..and his dressing sense is simply WOW!! but its not like i dont have any problem with those shows...i do..😆you know Kavi shastri post lenghty threads and replies on IF in Rishta.com forum and its lovely to read his post..😆 funny man...😆 KAvi Shastri does he looks like Aditya??..hmm..pata nahin yaar 🤔😆
