itne ache gaane ko itna bekaar kar diya, from that day i was confirmed that its better for him to do composition rather singing..

Yeah I went to one of his contestants once too. They were great.

It's not a surprise that his concerts are better than any other singers. He is the best performer. He knows how to put on a show.

I guess I might as well do a bit of appreciation.

A lot of Himesh's compositions are very meoldious. And he's immensely popular. Unfortunately, he became more popular for rubbish like Ashiq Banaya and not for reasonably good stuff like Tere Naam.

But he's still a useless singer. If you disagree with me, "tum TV pe phir se dekh lena"! When he sand Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, it sounded like he was suffering from hernia and not love.

As a composer, he ranks behind the National Award winners (AR Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Ismail Darbar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Anu Malik) and the upcoming Amit Trivedi and Salim-Sulaiman. But he's better than Pritam, Aadesh Shrivastava and Anand Raj Anand. I'd put him on the same level as Sajid Wajid.

As a TV personality, he is irritating to no end. He is the worst mix of arrogance, rudeness and loudness possible. Even Anu Malik, who is pretty obnoxious himself, isn't as horrible as Himesh.

I know I have criticised Himesh more than I have appreciated him. But I guess Himesh fans should just live with it, the way people like me are livign with Himesh.

But he is a very accomplished singer. You think he isn't good at singing, I think he is. When we look outside of our opinions, he is one of the best. He was the universal singer of the year in 2006. An accomplishment only the elite have accomplished.

He's actually received more recognition/awards for his singing rather than composing.

Since he started singing, composing and acting packages, he went downhill. Look at him now , his songs are no more blockbuster. He was good as a composer before. Now he is not as good as composer coz he is singing his own song. I completely agree with you that he became popular wiht non sense songs like Aashique banaya apne. Its beyond and most of the people imazination how come such lame song got award. Perhaps due to less comepetetion.

exactly! his songs from those 3 movies r nice.....beats me why he left a good thing n went off on a tangent 😕
must have been wrong advice, n fans should give him proper feedback if they really care
