😡😡😡.....Don't you guys dare think anything ulta-pulta or totally off the track about the title of my post! It is not a SidRaaj post!😆.... It is a Yuvi -Sid post referring to the start of a new friendship and a heartwarming friendship between the rock (Yuvi) and the sea(Sid).
Today's episode made me realize that maybe it is not that Sid is trying to keep Naina and Yuvi apart. Perhaps he is only trying to protect Naina from any emotional strain and psychological pressure that Yuvi's presence may cause to her. Sid's interactions with Yuvi today only proved that he wants to be friends with Yuvi and merge him with the gang. 😳

Honestly, speaking , I was expecting Sid to get fighty-fighty with Yuvi when Yuvi and Naina's eyes met in the locker room upon Yuvi's entry. I thought he will get up and again be curt to Yuvi and tell him to stay away from Naina .... forget inviting him to the engagement . But what Sid ultimately did was adorable... The way he walked towards Yuvi in an aggressive but laidback stride... Yuvi glaring back at him... and Sid putting a friendly hand on his shoulder and telling him that Abhi-Nikki are getting engaged. He has to come. 👏

Yuvi's expressions remained as icy as ever with a reticent and cold-shouldering Naina looking on. Yuvi told him in a gruff tone that there was no need to be sympathetic towards him .... he wants no mercy. But Sid insisted that Yuvi is a part of them , one of the gang ....will he come now? Yuvi looked at him for a moment , his gaze swept to Naina and then, with a mellowed expression , he nodded. Sid was happy ....he was trying to help Yuvi forget what happened , just remember that he is their friend , a part of their lives. Initial Naina Guardian Force complex apart, Sid genuinely wanted to engulf Yuvi into the sunshine of friendship... and it is a very very welcome change from the usual judgmental view. 👏😳

Even later, in Abhi-Nikki's engagement , even though Naina was hostile, frigid and furious with Yuvi , avoiding him , Sid made it a point to make sure that Yuvi feels like a part of the celebration. I love the way a dancing Sid dragged Yuvi into the Punjabi-in-the-house dhol jig. And Yuvi did not shrug him off. Instead, Naina rudely cut him off at the very start of a romantic moment between the two. And Yuvi taking up the dhol - everybody smiling at him - dancing their hearts out- Naughty Sid deliberately nudging an enraged Riddzie .... and sweetest of all , Naina moving away but her eyes not leaving Yuvi's face. 😉
I loved Sid today for trying to take Yuvi under a warm friendship wing and Yuvi not refusing the hand. I don't want them to become back-slapping buddies - i want them to have a dignified man-to-man friendship with their share of hiccups and joyrides. That's Yuvi and Sid for you.
P.S- Sid and Yuvi looked fabulous today in their UB shirts and the traditional attire . Infact , all DMG men ... especially Abhi , my original king of UB shirts ... looked great today. Women were... well... a little less fabulous. 😆
