You don't need to play games to win: Vindu
27 Dec, 2009 02:46 pm ISTlAFSANA AHMED /INDIATIMES MOVIES| "You don't have to play games to be a winner. Be yourself, and strive to be better human being... that's the key to success," declares Bigg Boss season 3's winner Vindu Dara Singh, his voice resonating with pride. Yes, Vindu was what everyone believed: the large hearted man, with streaks of a wimp and an angry young man, who had chances of winning the game. He did and how! The whole country was glued to their seats, sending across prayers for his success. The world celebrated along with Vindu, another achievement that'll go with Vindu a long way. Vindu started his film career way back in 1994 but success evaded him all the while even though he tried his hands at several things including serials. Being the son of the legendary father Dara Singh didn't help either. "You get things only when it is due. Same applies to success. What you require is little patience," says Vindu philosophically but this time with a tinge of pride as well. Celebrations are on at the Dara Singh mansion in Mumbai.Vindu's wife came along with his little daughter and brother to welcome him back from the Big Boss house last night. "I missed my daughter very much. I just broke down when I saw them. I wish my dad and mom would have come too. They deserve the award that I have received, as they have made me the kind of person I am," says Vindu a tad emotional again. So what are his plans now? "I have always gone with the flow of life. Will see, where it goes from here. But yes, I will work towards strengthening my position in the industry. I am sure, now people will look at me in a new light. I am so happy I cannot explain" says a beaming Vindu with a newfound energy. There have been rumors that the other Punjab da puttar and Bollywood's hunk Akshay Kumar thoroughly supported him, and helped him garner maximum votes outside. Vindu smiles 'God bless everyone whoever has supported me. Even those who haven't, is fine. I have no complaints,' he says in his characteristic sweet way, adding, "But my faith and respect in God and my countrymen have grown manifold after this." When desh ki janta decides, even God doesn't challenge the verdict! Right? |
