Avni stood near the window taking in the cold breeze as it swift past her. The red ball of heat was rising at the horizon sharing its heat and light with the people who inhabited the mother earth. The intence light rays blurred her eyes as she stared into the morning. She had been standing at the window for quite some time now. It was the only way to distract herself from facing the problem at hand. No matter how hard she tried to block her thinking her thoughts went back to him. Why did Sameer leave her again? She wondered. Did he think she would not understand him or give him another chance? He had left her when the world asked whose child she was bearing, but she had given him another chance. And now, he had left her when the world found out that he was not Jai but Sameer.
True, she had blasted him when she found out the truth. But she thought he would stand up for himself and explain why he did what he did. True, she had thought she was living with her childhood friend but she wasn't that dense to realize she loved him for who he was and not the person who he had come as. True, she was disappointed in him for breaking her trust again but didn't he realize that he was her world? Didn't he realize after spending 6 months with her that she loved him for who he was? Didn't he realize how bliindly she was in love wiith him? She wasn't the strongest girl in this world but the mere thought of him being with her was enough for her to face the world.
A lone tear dropped from her eyes as she realized how weak of a bond they shared. It was so weak that it broke when those words had come out of inder. She had never held vengeance against anyone or wished for anyones downfall but after losing her love she wished that Inder would burn in hell. He had taken her love from her from his own selfish reasons.
He lay on the park bench taking in the morning heat. His eyes were blood-red from the sleepless night. He was ashamed to face Avni after Inder told about their plan to everyone. His only fear now was the possibility of losing Avni. He realized how much she meant to him when he couldn't bear the fact of being away from her. He closed his eyes in frustration to get rid of the past - the past events that lead up to his loneliness. He knew it would be hard to move on but he had to. With determination to set everything right he got up and left the park ' to gain back what he had lost.
He saw her facing the window. Even without looking at her he knew she was crying. His feet stayed rooted to the ground. He wanted to run away from there not having the courage to face her, but he knew if he left now he would have to leave forever. He went forth towards her ' he reached to touch her shoulders but instead his hands slowly crept along her waist as he hugged her from behind. The moment his body made contact with hers he knew no matter how far he ran away from the truth - this was where he belonged.
"I love you Sammer." As he heard her say those words he broke down. Why did she always forgive him so easily? Why was she self-lessly in love with him? Why had he always been blind to see the extent of her love? Why did he always hurt her but didn't want to lose her? He fell to the ground holding her. He kept his face near the growing symbol of their love - their child. He buried his head and weeped like a child. "I'm sorry, Avni...I'm sorry. I don't know why I keep hurting u? I don't know why I repeatedly ask for forgiveness when I don't deserve to forgiven? I don't know why I keep running away from you? I don't..." Sameer paused for a second. "Avni, I Love You. I don't know why and when but all I know is that I can't live without you." He said tightly hugging her promising to never let go.
