Because veeru will have nofuture if kunal knows that he gona marrying shamoli.He hva to discontinue his education and also he have lots of debts. Her sister are planning to go away from mumbai. So might be she thought, if sha sacrifices her her love all their lives will be set

bcoz of the 3 lakh amount she or veeru will have to pay back to kunal incase shamoli marries veeru..plus now both the sisters are jobless and kanchan instead of thinking a way to pay back the amount is planning to return to her hometown , putting all the responsibility on shamoli...plus avaoiding the burden of money she and her sister's did over veeru as he and his mom are planning to sell a portion of their home..plus veeru's job may is at stake already,also his education will as he can't afford so much money in dept..shamoli thinks he's more prone to danger if kunal comes to know of his relationship with shamoli (that's how she thinks)...she is worried that kunal will not spare veeru if he finds out....but this is all due to communication gap...
